A Win Against Cincinnati Would...
• Give Houston a 7-1 record at home this season, which would set a franchise record
• Improve the Texans’ all-time regular season record against the Bengals to 5-4 overall and 2-2 at home
• Give Houston its second straight win against Cincinnati and its fifth in the last six head-to-head games
• Improve Houston’s record against the AFC North to 14-16 all-time
• Improve Head Coach Bill O’Brien’s career regular season record to 27-20 and 17-7 at home
The defense allowing only 306.5 total net yards and 17.2 first downs per game, Houston’s defense is ranked No. 1 in the NFL in both categories. The Texans are giving up 203.5 net passing yards per contest, which is the second lowest mark in the league.
ILB Benardrick McKinney leads the Texans and ranks eighth in the NFL with a single-season career-high 121 tackles. McKinney has recorded a career-high 5.0 sacks this year, making him the only player in the NFL in 2016 with 100 tackles and 5 sacks.
QB Tom Savage gets his first start after engineering a come from behind win last week. We get to see the 1st game plan designed for Tom Savage. Hopefully there is no more, run up the middle, run up the middle, throw short of sticks, punt.
Go Texans, Go Jags, Go Raiders!
Merry Christmas!
