Its pristine weather Sunday, high of 78 with no rain. Will the roof be open? I am kinda torn because I want the house to rock but it would be nice to see the sky once.
Why do people complain about the roof being open or not?
Do people look at the sky during the game? No.
People like to complain to complain.
I am not complaining but its a totally different experience as a fan when its open, you kind of lose track of time like a casino with the roof closed. On a nice day its very refreshing to see the sun.
The Texans want it closed because they think it's louder (not sure I agree, possibly a tiny bit). The stadium and its retractable roof were partially funded by tax dollars. People don't like tax dollars being spent on unnecessary items. Why do people complain about the roof being open or not?

But on the sunny side can't it get pretty hot? 78 in constant sun isn't so nice to many
I sat right in the sun and generally I thought the complaints were whining. There were a few days like the Pittsburgh game that got the policy changed where the complaints were understandable but then the team totally overreacted.
The Pittsburgh game was brutal. I was the only one left in my section after halftime, and I was covering up everything I could. So I completely understand a policy of 80 degrees. Two things I don't understand: 1.) not adhering to your own damn policy, and 2.) the 50 degree lower limit.
