Toughness or durability? Schaub and Rapistburger have both tried to play through serious injuries (broken bones, torn ligaments, etc.). That's man mode right there. I don't know if Romo has.

Romo has played through broken ribs and a collapsed lung. He's tough. They're all tough guys.

I think it depends on the team you put around them. If you've got a pretty good team, defense, running game, WR/TEs.... Matt Schaub, hands down.

but if your WRs can't get open, or you've got nothing but burners I'd say Roethlisburger.

If it's some combination in between, I'd probably go with Romo.

I think Ben can do more with less, then Romo to a lesser extent. But if you got a good team, I think Schaub can make the most of it, keep them on schedule, make them pay if they aren't honest, score efficiently.

Under pressure

Big Ben
Schaub
Romom

We have seen Romo just lose it all everytime he plays a big time game, and he has played more than Schaub. And then Schaub always under performs in the spotlight of a pressured game, he nearly gave away the wild card game to the Bengals last season with that late Pick 6, then again against greenbay, and the pats. He did do very well in mile high against peyton. but overall has not been good in pressured games, Big ben has a few rings so not really a question, and IMO big games are the only ones that matter.

I've seen Big Ben put teams on his back and carry them to victories... sometimes with suspect run games and iffy offensive lines.

Haven't seen that from the other two.

I remember a few years back the word was the Steelers could return to their winning ways if they could run the ball. "They" said if you're asking Ben Roethlisberger to throw the ball 40+ times a game, your game plan is flawed.

Romo would be hell if he had a run game.

What is so funny bout what I said?

the fact is stats don't compare to hardware!! I know BSPN and the mindless mediots
have been bashing peoples brains in, convincing them that this is the little league and
everyone is a winner at the years end

But it just ain't true!!

sports has room for 1 team comprised of 53 individual men (this case) who began on
a journey to take home a coveted prize that just isn't easy to grab a hold of any
more

Ward worked his ass off along with his teammates to achieve the impossible and
did it. the others mentioned just don't belong in the same ball park simple as that

Let me put it another way if I may

if you and were standing in a crowded room, and you had $20 dollars in your hand and
I had a million dollars in mine..who would the crowd gravitate towards more???

That won't make you a better janitor than me. Let me put it to you this way, David Carr has a Super Bowl ring. Tony Romo does not.

Who is the better QB?

Should Jerrah bring Carr in to lead the Cowboys since David has the hardware & Romo does not?

Ward 2 super bowl rings

This is such an oversimplification and not at all how the world works. Robert Horry has 6 rings, and Charles Barkley has none. One of them is a hall of famer, and the other is not. You can find countless other examples across multiple sports.

so the 5th string WR who sat on the bench and got a SB ring is better than AJ to is what ur saying ? Thats a joke, we all know Barry Sanders was one of the best RBs to ever play the game and he has 0 rings. That dont make all the scrub RBs with rings better than him.

Lets ask a different question then:

Trent Dilfer or Dan Marino?

The answer is all ways going to be the same, the 1 with the ring is better than the 1
w/o it, players aren't playing for stats and meaningless attributes they want gold just
like any one who plays sports

the main goal is to be #1 the way you become #1 is by winning a world championship
simple as that

So you're trading Tony Romo for David Carr? It's that kind of thinking that's got Jerrah lost in the wilderness for the last decade.

Chicken & egg, horse & cart, & all that sort of thing.

yeah Andre has zero and ward has some rings but think back in 03-08 if Andre was playing for the steelers how much better u think they would of been

sometimes well all the times its about the TEAM and the right team that comes together to win the Rings in every team tho u got Just straight up play makers or "players" OR GAMERS

I'm not trading Romo for anyone..I am saying Romo like the others you mentioned does
not have a ring to show for what he has done. and so he doesn't matter like the others
who like him share the same lack of hardware that Ben has
