Anyone want to trade up?

I'm hearing San Diego wants to trade down? Would there be any benefit for us to trade up? Any downfall to trading up? Discuss....

San Diego has the 11th pick, so moving up 16 would probably cost us our 2nd and 3rd. I'm not in favor of that, unless they are willing to take a 2nd and 5th for it. Guys I would target at 11 for this team would be Star Lotulelei, Sheldon Richardson, Mingo or maybe one of the OTs if they fall. If Dion Jordan were to fall to 11, I'd trade the 2nd and 3rd to move up for him. Maybe the Bills at 9 would be interested in taking that deal, they need picks to rebuild.

Only for close to sure things at positions that could improve the team greatly, both short term and long term.
Joeckel, Fisher, Lane Johnson, and probably Demingo (if we're dead set about moving Reed to ILB).

No too expensive and we need players. Now if you wnt to trade up from lower picks in second round, let's talk. Trade down from 27 makes much more sense.

I'm not a big fan of trading up unless we absolutely pants someone doing it. In this draft (actually, in most drafts), I like the idea of trading back a little and picking up some more picks in the 2-4 round range.

I'd wait until next year when there are a few guys with true "successor to Andre Johnson" potential in a Julio Jones-esque move-up.

This year I stand pat or, ideally, move back. Hell, I even move back at a markedly discounted rate.

I'm fine with trading up into the second or third but not into the first round unless it's for my guy Dion Jordan...Which we'd have to jump too high for it to even be reasonable..

Gawd, I lust after Fisher. Never happen, but...

I would rather draft ILB Alec Ogletree out of UGA. He should still be there when we pick.

Just thought I'd ask to see what we would have to offer. Not a big fan of moving up. Wouldn't be too mad if we moved down.

I think he likes you...

trading up is for teams that feel like there 1 player away from the SB ..... :P

I think we need at lest 5 good players to make it to the AFC champ game ......

I would prefer they trade out of the first if they can get another 2nd round pick. We could kill two birds with one stone then.

Don't know if I can name players from the draft, I'm used to posting over at the official forum lol.

You can name anyone you want, go for it, we have a whole section dedicated to mock drafts and college prospects. Probably had 100 Texans mocks over there this year. Trade ups, trade downs, stand pat, whatever you think of, you can make it up and post it. No big deal, just don't attack other people and it's all good.
