Now that we can win the superbowl, hell or even when a dman play-off game ? If so explain why, if not explain why. Just curious to see.
 
If we get HFA, like I've been expecting, I think we go to the AFCC and lose to Denver (which will be heartbreaking),.....but I have to wonder if we can beat anybody right now...........because our offense might not see the endzone again... :kubepalm:
 
I think we can beat the Bengals/Ravens, but my confidence wanes significantly if we start talking about new england/denver
 
i still fear schaub will lay an egg in prime time. id love to be wrong and have all the schaubers laugh and point when they prove me wrong. i welcome it, prove me wrong, prove anyone who calls schaub a spade wrong. prove we are trolls who dont understand a single thing about football.. until then, im optimistic and will root with a blind faith and hope..

Just sad to see the cowboys continue to fight while the other team in texas went to the corner layed down and put their thumb in their mouth.

Yeah but I don't think it's an overrated show. I thought the clip had valid purpose, which is why I used it. He already went on record saying it's overrated, so to turn around and use it is....eh....a bit hypocritical, dontcha think? Hmmm.

and a tied game, i hate the cowboys 100%. BUT i love a team that does not quit. That said i still HATE the cowboys.

Blind hope. It's what fans do. The communication problem we have on this board seems to stem from the fact that half the board doesn't recognize the difference between blind FAITH and blind HOPE. I hope my team wins every game. I do not have blind faith that they will do that. I am capable of examining trends, recognizing patterns, and coming to some reasonable conclusion as to what type of football I can expect over a period of time. That doesn't stop me from hoping that Any Given Sunday rears up and the Texans will hang 40 on someone.

Maybe the team itself? If they believe the resy, as they say, takes care of itself.

Then again, if Kubes were my coach I might wonder about our success too.
 
Nothing has changed for me.
You get to the play-offs then you need to execute.

The team that executes better most usually win.

I expect one win, after that nobody knows.
You need a little luck.

If the luck comes out equal, we have a good chance to win the AFC.
 
I keep saying it, "whatever the first game this team plays in the play-offs, we are toast!" We are one and done!!!

The same people didn't believe before this game. This performance has nothing to do with the doubters. I will continue to support them until they lose. Until then I 100% have faith in the best Texans team ever. If they win it all the same doubters will be like I had faith the whole time

I'm not happy but I'm not being a reactionary moron about it. You can express your dissatisfaction while keeping perspective.
 
Some of the responses are silly. If someone is upset after a loss they are 'morons' and 'doubters'? Last I checked no one here wrote what it means to be a fan nor is their some official guide. Because some have doubts does not change the fact that those same fans will most likely be there cheering every Sunday (or whatever day). If they choose to not think we have enough right to get the job done it isn't like they are pulling it out of thin air. You'd have to be blind to not see the issues.

So if you have doubts, it's understandable. If you don't, then more power to you. But no one is more a fan one way or another. Heck, Browns and Raiders fans are filling their stadium every Sunday. They doubt they'll win. But they are still fans. So getting up in arms about folks who have doubts is just a bit ridiculous.

The little boys among us will be like that. The real men among us will say we were wrong and man up. I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong. However, based on the play the last 4-5 weeks I have no confidence in this team until they prove me wrong.

I am a native Texan and proud of it. However the history of this franchise dictates you must take a Missouri attitude with this team.
 
I have doubts about this team, but it is mainly because of who the HC is. I don't trust Kubiak in a tight game and I never will. He has shown to many times that he won't change or adjust his philosophy under certain circumstances.

We have a good team though, and if this team can get motivated enough, you never know. They only have to win two playoff games, but they'll have to go through Manning and Brady for sure. I don't see our HC having this team prepared enough to beat both of those teams and Schaub is not good enough to out duel both of those guys if our entire team isn't playing out of this world.
 
I'm still a Texans fan. I love 'em. I root for them. I buy all their gear, $7.50 bear, season tickets, play-off tickets.

But my confidence is low. Offensively, for three & a half games, we can't do anything. This isn't a fluke.

I was holding out hope that we would get our second wind. Seems as though Jj Watt & the defense has, but this offense.

We got out played by Christian Ponder having an average day.
