Maybe they wanted to make sure that the number 90 didn't see the field this season.
 
All those people that coughed up all that money for a Mario jersey will now have to duct tape Louiseau's name on it.
 
i dont think he keeps 90, once cuts start happening more numbers will become available..

anyone else notice that he had 49 on his locker as well as 90.. maybe 90 is a place holder for him..

Don't be surprised if Loiseau sticks. He's been called a "Gym Rat" and a "High Motor" guy that likes to play like Cushing, but due to circumstances (jail time), was only able to get a scholarship to Merrimack. Not sure what his talent level is but he could make it as a backup ILB and Special Teamer, or he may end up on the PS for this season. He's one of the guys I'm interested in and seeing what they do.

Yeah, I picked up on him during pre-draft readings. He definitely has the demeanor and physical ability to stick as ILB depth/special teams. All about what he knows and how he applies it now!

As for the #90, at least we know we'll be getting maximum effort from the player wearing the number.

He'll be this year's version of Bryan Braman.

This guy is a Bill Bates type of player. Everywhere all the time, special teams warrior, no quit in him.

He's my surprise "final roster" player.

When I read about his bum/bad cop arrest my jaw dropped. Lucky to be able to go to a small school even.

Glad the Texans gave him a chance. I'd not be shocked in the least to see him make the final 53.

Besides, we all know the only number Mario cared about was the one on his contract.
 
Curious, I googled the kid's back story. I really, really hope Loiseau makes the team.

linebackers only have 20 total numbers to choose from.. 90 was the only number left in that group..

chris myers need to come up off of 55 and take a number in the 60s
