We’re headed for a busy season of coaching changes. No fewer than nine jobs look tenuous, and there’s always a surprise after the season.

We’d put the over/under of firings around seven, including Jack Del Rio’s removal in Jacksonville.

Add it all up, and Jeff Fisher figures to get a chance to get back into the league if he wants to. It sure seems like he wants to.

The latest sign: A report from NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora that two teams have already contacted Fisher about potential jobs.

The Jaguars figure to be one of the teams. Fisher has been rumored as a candidate there, and they have the only current vacancy.

La Canfora lists the Chargers, Cowboys, Giants, and Rams as teams that have ties to Fisher. It’s hard to imagine the Cowboys or Giants would have already talked to Fisher.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if Dolphins owner Stephen Ross already reached out to Fisher either. Ross hasn’t exactly been subtle with his coaching maneuvering in the past.

It will be funny if he signs with the Jags and they move within a couple of years. Same thing happened when he became HC in Houston.

If I were Fisher, I'd go to San Diego.

Fisher + Rivers + Fisher's D in that division? fuggedaboutit

I was going to ask the other night, what's San Diego's problem?

They've had Wade Phillips on Defense & their offense wasn't too shabby at that time either.

Last year, they had the #1 offense & defense & still didn't go any where.

He was contacted by 'two teams'. Doesn't say NFL, so don't assume. He may become the head coach of the Aggies before you know it...

Last year seemed like a leadership void.

Ryan Matthews is always getting hurt, offensive line killed by injuries & just awful this year. Rivers may be injured, too -- leads league in interceptions.

I think Turner may have finally lost the locker room.

They're cursed.

Oh, snap ... I didn't even think about the Colts. Please, no.
