1.The offensive line had it’s worst game in 2 years.

2.Gary Kubiak had terrible play calling in the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

3.FB Lawrence Vickers dropped a game winning reception.

4.WR Andre Johnson didn’t play

5.OLB Mario Williams left the game in the 1st quarter.

6.FB/TE James Casey suffered the same pectoral injury as Williams, but might return.

7.QB Matt Schaub took some sacks on plays he should have thrown away.

8.WR Jacoby Jones sucks.

9.If Johnson was in on that last play he would of gotten open and the play would have been made.

10.K Neil Rackers missed his first FG under 45 yards in something crazy like 163 kicks, quite unlucky huh?

11.Terrible clock management at the end of the half.

12.That time out we called on Oaklands last drive was about 8 seconds too late, trust me it matters.

13.CB Jason Allen got worked by one of the biggest bust of 1st round pick.

Vickers dropped pass was when we were down 8... we kicked a field goal after that play... it wasn't a game winning play...

but...but....but schaub threw a pick a the end of the game!!

jk, i agree with this.

and @mugrakers, we would've went for two, and if we've got it, tied game, if not, only 2 points game and just need a field goal, and we were in field goal range on the last drive of the game.

Yes, it was, because another field-goal after that would have been far easier than what we tried to do. There's also 2 point conversions. You drop a dang TD pass and it matters.

The missed FG would also have allowed us to just kick another FG (a chip-shot no less) at the end for the win.

I would like to add the 14th reason...

The leaky roof at Reliant. Especially the one drop that nailed me in the eye as I was looking up to see where it was coming from! :pissed:

After the decent start.... This game had that dark erry feeling that bad things were going to happen to us and we would find terrible ways to lose and lady luck would not be on our side. A feeling i have felt many many times. The main reason is because we are the Texans... Nothing more to really explain. Same damn team we all have known for years.

When we lose, we lose right. When we lose players, we lose the most important ones.

1.The offensive line had it’s worst game in 2 years.

The Raiders have the deepest and one of the best DL in the NFL.

2.Gary Kubiak had terrible play calling in the 2nd and 3rd quarter.

Raiders' defense settled down and made the proper adjustments to the Texans game plan.

3.FB Lawrence Vickers dropped a game winning reception.

Maybe, it all depends on whether Quentin Groves (#52) would have made it to Vickers in time to stop him from going in. Either way, the Texans needed to score again.

4.WR Andre Johnson didn’t play

No he didn't. Then again, the Raiders were missing their #2 and #3 DBs; leaving Routt and a rookie to cover the Texan's WRs. Probably had a lot to do with Schaub's 400 yards passing don't your think?

5.OLB Mario Williams left the game in the 1st quarter.

6.FB/TE James Casey suffered the same pectoral injury as Williams, but might return.

7.QB Matt Schaub took some sacks on plays he should have thrown away.

You could say that just about any sack. Then again, he was facing one of the best DL in football, and Al Davis has always said the other guys QB must go down and must go down hard!

8.WR Jacoby Jones sucks.

9.If Johnson was in on that last play he would of gotten open and the play would have been made.

10.K Neil Rackers missed his first FG under 45 yards in something crazy like 163 kicks, quite unlucky huh?

13.CB Jason Allen got worked by one of the biggest bust of 1st round pick.

That was Jason Campbell at QB; JaMarcus Russell is no longer employed by the Raiders.

I'd have to say the number 1 reason we lost is because Kubiak sucks! Especially under pressure, even slight pressure.
To me it appears he had no secondary game plan at all.
He obviously isn't conditioning his players well enough (way too many muscle injuries not related to hits).
If he can get a team on their heels and keep them there, he is a so so coach, but let a team get back into a game at all and he acts like Henry Winkler's character in The Waterboy and just crawls into his shell and mumbles incoherently tossing out the exact same plays over and over and over.

I assumed he was referring to Heyward Bey.

He's a much improved player this year, I wouldn't label the guy as a bust.

You mean the guy with 9 receptions on the year before playing the Texans? He nearly doubled that total Sunday alone.

Oh, I knew who he was talking about, but it was a media-parroted stupid statement. Here, take a look:

Heyward-Bey - 16/263/1 (16 Receptions, 263 yards, 1 TD)

Michael Crabtree - 11/132/0

Sidney Rice - 16/226/1

Santonio Holmes - 17/224/2

Jacoby Jones - 8/100/0

Hey, I didn't want Davis to draft him, but Bey has come along quite nice. He is a great kid with a great attitude, and it wasn't his fault that Davis/Raiders drafted him with the 17th pick.

Heyward-Bey blows. The best way to tell is to just watch him play.
