PSL Marketplace

I have made several offers for tickets on the Texans Website marketplace. Each time that I have made an offer, the seller has raised the price of the tickets and countered back. Sometimes they have even doubled the price, and sometimes just a few hundred dollars. Have any of you guys that have recently purchased PSL's gone through similar events. What would you guys do if you where me?

I would not give them more than there original price that for sure! I paid $300 under there asking price for mine.

Do you think your offer was so low that it offended them and they raised the price?

I think thats weird if they are trying to sell the psl's the would raise the price after an offer.

Original price was 2600 and I offered 2300. He did not even counter and raised price to 2750.

Earlier listing for tickets for $2500, I offered $2100 and he raised to $3250 and countered back $3150. I increased my offer to what I was willing to pay like $2400 and he countered back to $3100. I did not make another offer, and he raised the price to $5000. this was the first time I had made an offer on tickets.

I made an offer on another set of tickets and the offer expired. the next day the listing came down, so I assume they changed their minds about selling. but its been a big circle jerk trying to buy psl's so far.

Just wondering what is going on, or if anyone out there has encountered this.

As goofy as it sounds, I would think most people.... most would think there is a lot of optimism around the Texans right now.

I would stop making offers....... make an inquiry, see if the Texans have any they want to sell, but I wouldn't make any offers.

If you see people here trying to unload PSLs, then I would make offers.

A lot of folks, when ticked about being PSL owners, talk a big talk about selling. But they also seem to think it is an 'investment.' Tickets on Stubhub are ALWAYS inflated, so I wonder if PSL marketplace is full of the same folks. Expecting a bag of money to fall into their lap and when it doesn't, refusing to sell for a reasonable price.

Not sure. I know that this is what has sent me here looking for seats, but have not had any luck.....where are the reasonable sellers....lol..
I suppose when it is ment to be I will find some. Not in a big rush at this point, just looking for a serious seller.

Brad you waited to long. The time to have bought PSLs was during the lockout. Now it looks like the Texans may make the playoffs so the price will be going up. I had 2 of my PSLs on the marketplace for the original price that I paid for them 7 years ago and everyone that made a offer was going down on my price so I just decided to pay for the tickets and hope we make the playoffs because if we do I will double my asking price..lol

I have never seen a significant drop in PSL's ever, even during and after 2-14. Now, some times they are more or less inflated, but I've never seen 'fair' prices compared to what the Texans sell them for.

Fair price for tickets to me would be somewhere in the vacinity of the 6 month average listed in the sales data on the texans.com site. I have seen some that are 1000 over the average for seats in loge II. I am looking for decent seats but don't want to get beat up to bad. 4G+ for 2 seats seems steep for this section...IMO.

presistance has paid off. I got PSL's in the Mezzanine. Thanks to all who have been so helpful in the past several weeks. look forwad to getting out to some games this season.
