KJ late to team meeting?

While driving to South Texas this morning I heard a blurb on 610 Am radio that Kareem Jackson did not start against Miami due to being late to a meeting. Anyone else hear that?

I heard he tripped over David Anderson on the way into the complex, which left him tangled up for a good 10 minutes.

I didn't even notice he didn't start. I also didn't get to see half of the 1st quarter because it took CBS an eternity to switch from the end of the Bills game to ours. They milked the handshakes and then had about a 10 minute commercial break after that

Yeah I heard it but don't care. He's played well so far. That's all that matters right now.

I would normally say "bench KJ for the season", but after witnessing the version of pass D that Allen offered up against Marshall, I'm willing to compromise. At least KJ can tackle between slips.

I hadn't heard that but I'm glad he got 'punished' if that happened. People can say what they want about Kubiak and they're usually well within reason, but he made Jacoby stay home from an away game once, he was tough on Foster his rookie season, I'm sure there are other examples. Jacoby and Foster have both come out saying that tough love has helped them grow as professionals. Let's help Jackson gets the memo and wakes up.

That really made me mad, too. I thought they had a rule about not being able to show a game that was switched to 15 minutes past the hour since late games were to be played.

Figures, after 2 years I cancelled my Sunday Ticket because they had been showing all the Texans games on local t.v. for the first time ever, and now I wish I had it back.

Seriously...seemed like an effing eternity that they clung to that Bills game. That is the one dissadvantage to having afternoon games.

i thought it was because Allen wanted to play his former team to bad he got roasted tho LOL

Wasn't he banged up on the sidelines for a bit during the game? I thought I saw him go down, I was in NYC so I could only catch bits and pieces of the game via redzone.

Jonathan Joseph left the game for a little bit, I don't remember seeing #25 down.

I always found it strange that a coach would bench their starter during a game as discipline. Why hurt your TEAMS chances more by keeping a starter out? Seems that punishes you, more than them.

I would think fining them would hurt a lot more. Less money for that Louis V luggage!
