In fairness, AJ had both hands on the ball and it was in stride with him.

The second pick? That was all on Schaub. He lost track of the roaming LB like he did vs. 49ers in preseason game 3 this year. That's been a problem.
 
Sure wish it would have been a shut out, but I'm happier than a dog with two peters. Can't wait until the 18th!!!!!!

It's like neither have considered the fact that the Texans and Colts are two ENTIRELY different teams this year. I don't think the research half as much as the posters on this board (no surprise there...lol).
 
Wow. Kubiak and Collins having a looooong talk at midfield.

Collins immediately smiles when Kubiak starts talking, reaches out and pats Kubiak on the shoulder as Kubiak talks to him.

Wonder what Kubiak said?

Kubiak: "Hey Kerry. Sorry about the game. We'll make up for it when we play you guys at your house."

Collins: (Smiling) "Yeah, I know. That's the way the cookie crumbles, right?"

1st half, both offense and defense played the game. 2nd half, the offense took it off but the defense didn't. It's a start in another direction at least. Miami up next.

Not singling out you in particular, but...

what is with people talking **** about other fans here? We are all Texans fans; obviously we all want the Texans to do well. So some people have other opinions than you, than the coaching staff. Maybe they were/are wrong, but then again, maybe they are not- it has been one (1) game after all.

Just relax, enjoy the win, and keep supporting the Texans. Keep discussing, keep disagreeing (this place would be boring if everyone was a sunshiner), but remember that we all support the Texans. That is all I wanted to say.

you realize that the ran the ball 85% of the time in the second half, this game was over at halftime...

No need to run it up, run the ball, get nobody hurt and prepare for Miami....

Oh, and Mario is on pace for a 32 sack season.

A few more games like this, I won't have to rely on using crappy internet streams to watch the Texans!!!

The Fantasy team is going great as well, and my free bet on the Ravens from my online sportsbook went perfectly as well!

Curious as to how the expression "throw up in his mouth" came to be.....is there some other place that a person would throw up?

Does that mean that if someone says "I was so happy I $hit myself"...they should specify the orifice where that always occurs?
 
My CBS local station is now showing remainder of Tits-Jagoffs game.

Titans came back and are down 2 with 3:25 left. Jagoffs with the ball. Trying the patented "Give it to MJD" routine. This is where Garrard was money for the Jagoffs. Next play after the 1st down MJD run? McCown tosses a wounded duck.

Why are you being a dick?

"Throwing up in one's mouth" means you closed your mouth and caught the puke inside your mouth (usually a small amount) and by contrast did not spew it out like a normal puke.

Is that hard to understand, or are you a little mouthy for some other reason?

We're still only playing one half of football.
Too many damned turnovers - one in the Red Zone.
When you take "your foot off the gas" or start "coasting" you get sloppy.

I don't like it.
We won't beat Brees or Roethelisberger with sloppy play like this

I couldn't really watch the game - can someone tell me:

- how much pressure did we put on the QB (and how did Mario look at OLB)?
- did Mario drop into coverage? How did he look?
-how was our secondary?
- how was our run defense?
- how impressive was Ben Tate?
- how bad were the Colts?
 
This will be three straight doses of MJD right here.

I am hoping JJ Watt gets his hands on MJD a few times when we play them. Gonna' be different outcome this time around, IMO.
 
I did sip a bit of Kool-Aid and noticed that KJ was running with the receivers and not 10 yards off of them. Good game I think and for the secondary as a whole.

I strongly believe if it was close there would have been a different looking 2nd half. How about that 1st half??

I can't believe the postgame chatter on this board is already turning negative.
 
Still too many turnovers no matter what the score is. You can bet Kub is gonna lite them up over that. Try turning the ball over like that against the Ravens or the Saints and see what the score is....

I'm happy as hell with the outcome, but I've seen the "Kubiak Coasting" with a large lead bite the Texans in the ass enough that I still get concerned whenever I see it. This team really hasn't ever shown they can re-take the momentum after they lose it. Fortunately the lead and domination was enough that it wasn't an issue today.
