paranoid official overcalling a personal foul has cost a team a game.

Lions v Bears, Suh called for a forearm to the head by an obscured official.

Leads to a Bears TD in the 4th quarter and the eventual 24-20 win.

Awful call based on paranoia not evidence.

Terrible stuff. The thing is no one will care because its just the Lions.

Didn't see it, but if true, would be the second time this year the Lions were F'ed by the refs against the Bears.

Cutler was scrambling was past the LOS, he was kind of running to the sideline towards the side judge.

Suh came from behind and pushed him in the shoulders with two open hands.

Somehow the judge called it a forearm to the head. I think he called it that way because of how hard Cutler fell.

I didn't see it, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I understand doing everything possible to maintain player safety, but at some point you have to realize that physicality and players getting injured is just something that is in the nature of the game.

Well, I just saw the play....

And honestly, my initial reaction was that it was aviolent shove...

That said, a violent shove on a QB who is running should not be against the rules...

I didn't see the back of the play so I don't know if he made contact with the helmet or not, but to me it didn't look like he went for the QB's helmet...

It was a pathetic call! This crap is getting out of hand fast. Look at the no-call last night. The TE Miller was knocked the f out but there was no flag. I think there was another one missed earlier in the game.

If they want to clean up concussions by inforcing this crap at least be consistent with the friggin calls. Hell, it actually seems like there are more concussions this season with the new rule.

Yeah what was that about? They also missed Ben getting his nose broke by a ravens dlineman.

Yeah, maybe that's the other one I thought they missed. Did you see his nose? I wonder why they didn't re-set that sucker. I've broke mine a couple times and they re-set it asap. Maybe it depends on the break, but I could hardly breath out of my beak when it broke.
