Time Warner sucks. Need to find a spot to watch the game, hopefully with some fellow fans. Is anyone going to be a Pluckers in RR tonight?
 
I thought about going out, but not sure yet on arrangements for the kids. I am guessing hookinreds will be there though, he catches most of the games there.
 
Is anyone going to be at the Buffalo Wild Wiings on 35 and Parmer in North Austin in the Wal-Mart parking lot by Red Robin and all that?

That's the closest place to me. I have my daughter and won't have a chance to get out until about 8:30....so since that is the closest place to me, I'm just going to go there. Anyone else going there?

I will most likely be up there tonight. I'll be wearing my steel blue Mario jersey, steel blue Texans hat, and also possibly my steel blue Texans hoody although I'm sure they will close off the patio.

I'm pretty sure Hookinreds lives at Pluckers so I expect to see him there. Hope you can make it Hardcore, I'll buy you a beer!

Thats him. We work for the same company and started within weeks of each other. I think I met you the last time I watched a game down there, probably 2 years ago.

is there a good Texan following at Pluckers at Lakeline? Lookin for somewhere on 620 area and Fowlers is good, but not enough Texan fans.

He's a cool dude, I tried to get him in my FF league this year but it was a last minute thrown together thing and he was out of town during the only possible draft times. Yes, I did meet you back then, out at the patio bar. I pm'd you once as you invited me by your tailgate for some of your free brew but you didn't respond to my pm.
 
Sorry about that. You are of course welcome to our tailgate anytime. You can't miss us in the front row of the platinum lot as we've expanded considerably. If you come by Pluckers I'll buy a you beer to make up for it.:barman:
 
No worries. I am/was very interested in trying out your home brew, I have been wanting to get into doing that myself. You had given me some advice on the subject as I recall.

Man, I am up to 2 beers being offered and it doesn't look like I'll be able to make it! Just my luck...lol. My wife is working and taking two of the kids with her but my 5 year old is having a school function and it looks like I am not going to be able to make Pluckers unless something changes.
 
I'll be up at Pluckers in RR. Have at least one of my son's in tow. Check my avitar...that's what I'll be wearing...son will likely be in his Red #80, not sure what jersey my youngest will be wearing. We will be at the long table behind the bar outside 'cause well, thats where I always am.

Let's get this one!

Lol...usually this is the case yes.

But I have to work tomorrow so I don't plan on drinking more than 1 if even that. If I even order a beer it will be because I don't want to go in a bar and the guy that only drinks water and doesn't tip. Plus, yes, WilCo like you said......a little drinking as possible. ;)

I didn't know that the Pluckers in RR is only that much farther, maybe I will do that. The farthest I ever go north on 35 is Louis Henna where my PT job is..... how much farther from Louis Henna on N 35 is this Pluckers? Is it right on the freeway/easy access?

Edit: a buddy of mine in the office who lives in RR told me it is only like 3 miles past Louis Henna...not too far so I will swing in there tonight and meet up with yall.

What exit do I take if I am heading north?

Also, not sure what all gear I will be wearing (may just be in Texans sweatshirt) but I'll have my blue Texans beanie on if it's cold. I'll look for some of yall up there!

It's not even 3 miles after LH, it's the next exit after Louis Henna/HWY 45. Exit Hester Crossing Exit #251 as you head north. You'll have to go through one light, that's Hester's crossing. Pluckers is about a mile up probably less after the light, it's on the right after Academy. If the lot is full, park behind Pluckers in the Big Lots parking lot and come in the back door.

I have a ton of free wing cards I wish I could give you guys. What's the earliest anybody will be getting there?

I think it's the McNeil exit heading north.

I'm making the drive from Temple, about 45 minutes away and I have to work tomorrow as well. So if I can make it, you can make it. I plan to eat well :chili: and cut myself off after halftime.

I'm gonna be runnin around with my daughter right after work until I get up there so I decided I'm not gearing up with my jersey and gameday shoes and all that.

It's mile marker exit 251, Hester's Crossing as you drive North. I left more specifics in my other post.

Yeah, I was three chairs from the end of the bar. I think I gave you guys a high five at some point. I only ended up there because I work down the street at Dell and that Pluckers was the closest place I could make it to after work. I'm glad I checked it out now, since there are no Texans watch parties in Austin. I tried putting one together last year, but everyone whiffed. I'll see you guys again.

And we have stacks of those free wing coupons all over the place at work. I'll bring some with me next time.

I was there, arrived around 6:45, hanging out with Shannon and some other people. I was inside at the bar right next to the door to go outside, wearing my blue Johnson jersey over a white long sleeve shirt.

I saw everyone outside, but people seemed to be with their families, so I didn't want to interupt.
