I'd like to see more of Molden in the next couple of weeks, particularly on the edge against #1 and #2 WRs. I don't care who loses the reps - probably should be Quin he seems to be our worst CB - and I'd like to even see this Paymah get some run too. I think you stick with Kareem and really see what you have there. But I think we know all we need to know about Quin at this point and the same could be said for McCain. Throw Molden to the wolves and figure out if he can help this team on the edge.

Based on what? Everytime I look up Kareem is getting burnt but Quin is the worst? I don't see it, maybe I'm missing something.
 
I'm not sure why Molden is even still on this team? they could have cut him & kept Reeves, he has been a non-factor since drafted & will probably continue to be a non-factor till he is gone the game film shows no different.
 
I'd like to see Molden in the unemployment line, he's done nothing for this team since he got here. The guy must have blackmail on Kubiak, it's the only explanation for why he still has a job.

Well I'll put it this way, Kareem has more positive plays than Quin. And, while they have been few and far between, I see "flashes" of the potential Kareem has. Quin just looks bad and keeps getting worse.

You guys didn't see Molden on special teams the past few weeks? He's been active on that unit. I don't know why the staff continues to let the same rotation of CBs get beat time after time and not let Molden have a try at it.

Exactly, I don't understand the hate for him. I want to see what he can do on defense, then I'll pass judgment. I thought I read somewhere where he was looking the best in camp of all the corners, what happened to that?

Yeah and he ran with the 1s for a period of time if I remember correctly. I say give him a try.

This is Molden's 3rd year on Texans & all we have seen so far is "he has the size for pro typical CB". It is not hate rather apathy. He has had ample opportunity to get on the field but has not beaten out even McCain. We pprobably need to draft two CBs if we don't run out of picks.

Heard them talking on 610 about Champ Bailey, not only for the Bronco connection, but showing these youngsters NFL cornerbacking...:thinking:
 
The reason, Kareem has been making more positive plays than Quin, is because they Keep Freaking Throwing to him. He is going to get a ton of tackles.

Which leads me to my next point.....are you aware that Bernard Pollard is 3rd in the league in total tackles. Its not a good sign when our Safeties are getting a ton of tackle oppurtunities.

Yes, but Pollard is playing more like a lb than a safety.

I beg to differ. I think Quin has been our best corner. I think majority of our secondary problems are due to Kareem's inexperience, lack of speed for all the starting DBs, and poor coaching.
 
I gotta say, I'm sick of Molden being hurt all the time. I WOULD rather have Bennett because at least Bennett can get on the field to suck.
