Death to Google Ads! Texans Talk Tip Jar! 🍺😎👍
Thanks for your support!
Our D got in a lot of extra conditioning - chasing down the Houston RBs.
Since when did the NFL go to a 17 game schedule?Don't get fooled my friend. Don't think that a star has been born in Arian Foster, or "Air Nation" as the gay slogan Texan fans like to use. That embarrasses me. Anyway, credit to the Texans but the Colts were just awful and were in the game the whole time. Had Collie not fumbled the Colts would have won and Texan fans would be ****ting the bed tonight wondering how they lost when the Colts were so bad. They gave up 400+ yds and 3TD's to Manning who had ZERO problems moving the ball on that defense. The Colts laid an egg and the Texans took advantage. I'm sure the players will all love their 2-15 rings. Win a playoff game in January then lets talk about the mighty Texans.
I didn't read past the 3rd page so I missed that one. What a d bag.I was reading through some of the threads over there. Where are these "classy" Colts fans that I keep hearing about? There were some good post, but there were a lot of **** talkers as well. They sound like Cowboys fans. They dont want to give credit to the Texans for playing a good game , just a lot of IF, this, and IF that. Talk about sore losers.

I'm assuming he meant our record vs the Colts. That doesn't make him less of a D-bag though.Since when did the NFL go to a 17 game schedule?
I think they were talking about our record against them...still pretty lame.I was reading through some of the threads over there. Where are these "classy" Colts fans that I keep hearing about? Yeah, everybody knows Arian Nation's better.I think they were talking about our record against them...still pretty lame.
And when did we start calling it Air Nation?? Doesn't even make sense.
They've only sounded friendly because they don't see us as a threat. I was really pissed off at their comments on this board after the Rosencopter game (never thought I'd ever use that term).I was reading through some of the threads over there. Yeah, you're right. Brainfart, lol.I'm assuming he meant our record vs the Colts. That doesn't make him less of a D-bag though.
Peyton will be 50 and still slinging it around ala Favre.Colts fan needs to realize they will be irrelevant soon
Once Peyton retires it's over for these losers
Aside from the first 2 drives, myers was outstanding
If myers can play at that level this year
The offense could improve from last year
Which is a tall order...
nice!!señor stan;1520257 said:this one is my favorite.
Because the Colts run D has sucked for years. Why does it have to be the Colts run D sucked?
Why cannot it be that the Texans dominated the point of attack? That the run offense was superior? That the Texans had the better conditioning that carried them through 4 quarters of play?
pitiful talk.
I don't think that one will fly... However, I have no heard 'Air Nation' until now. Are they making stuff up?Yeah, everybody knows Arian Nation's better.
That's my guess. They picked something stupid and say that the Texans came up with it.I don't think that one will fly... However, I have no heard 'Air Nation' until now. Are they making stuff up?
Perhaps...but Favre never had a Mario in his division whose primary focus was to take him down.Peyton will be 50 and still slinging it around ala Favre.
It's hard to see from this angle, but the Texans oline drove them 4 yards off the ball...in Victory formation.Señor Stan;1520257 said:This one is my favorite.
That's pretty much how it goes. Remember way back in the day when the 1985 Bears just destroyed the Dallas Cowboys? The Cowboys were 10-6 that year and tied for first in their division but the Bears crushed them 44-0 and typical Cowboys fan back then was saying it was an abberation. It was actually the shape of things to come. It was a pivotal moment in those two franchises paths. I'm not saying that yesterday was THE moment when the Texans suddenly became the Colts worst nightmare or something silly like that. I'm just saying that when those moments get here the dominant teams fans rarely recognize it until after the fact.Perhaps...but Favre never had a Mario in his division whose primary focus was to take him down.
Nobody has sacked Manning more than Mario has, and they said during the game that Mario acknowledges the fact that he was drafted to get to Manning.
As far as Colts fans...'eh, typical fans spoiled by success. They did not lose because they shot themselves in the foot. They got their butts handed to them by a team that they are just used to owning.
I've been scanning Colts Boards for a long time. Generally they have educated fans that aren't a bunch of douche.bags. They have a couple of a-holes but as a whole, a lot less than most teams boards. Thanks for that.
Liked what I was hearing.
Good smart posts too, alot like this board.
Even there Vonta looks like he's ready to knock someone the **** out!!!It's hard to see from this angle, but the Texans oline drove them 4 yardsSeñor Stan;1520257 said:This one is my favorite.

Best quote from that thread (positives taken from the game)
Quote:

In that thread, they're going over all the shoulda, coulda, woulda's that we normally go through. They believe their defense is as bad as what we saw, but they believe the score would have been closer, they might have won, had some things gone their way. Several passes were dropped that could have extended drives. One was a sure touchdown. The Colts got outplayed. The better team on the field today won.
I imagine that when we play the Colts in Indy, our game plan isn't going to change. If you know you are going to run, and the defense knows you are going to run, and you still run it for 5+ yards every time, your team is just plain better.
Here's a thread from their board, I don't know if it's the same one posted earlier.Colts fan needs to realize they will be irrelevant soon

Thanks! We appreciate the kudos! There's really no two ways about it. The Texans were the better team yesterday.
Congrats on the win.
He's like a Caldwell eclipse. If you look close there is a RG in that photo, LOL!Look at Leach!! He looks like he wants to knock someone's head off in the victory formation!! He is a monster!!
I didn't even notice he was back there. He's like a Caldwell eclipse. If you look close there is a RG in that photo, LOL!
Agreed. But that's what the losing team normally does.In that thread, they're going over all the shoulda, coulda, woulda's that we normally go through. But, that's the way things go, and I'm glad we are on this side of the situation this time.
November 1st is going to be an exciting game. (wow, didn't realize we've got two MNF games).
Wow. Coach gets you to the SB and his calling card is the "stench of failure."Sanders is a lost cause and we need to cut our ties with him. He'll probably be placed on injured reserve anyway. As usual, our pathetic HC said he didn't know the extent of Sanders elbow injury, which is BS, he just is not telling. Our O line is in shambles, yes injuries and not working together is part of it but so is a lack of talent.
Jim Caldwell is Tony Dungy without the X and O coaching skills. He just cannot mold a winning team. The stench of failure appears to be his calling card just like when he was the HC at Wake Forest.
Polian and staff need to re evaluate their outdated, ain't getting it done criteria for selecting O and D lineman. Our small, quick guys tend to get the +!$$ kicked out of them by other teams when they take their bigger, stronger lineman and simply line up and run it down our throats and/or simply over power our linemen.
Honestly, I think that team was in cruise mode at that point...Wow. Coach gets you to the SB and his calling card is the "stench of failure."
And Pollard wants us to punt.Even there Vonta looks like he's ready to knock someone the **** out!!!
Couldn't agree more. so many years of 12 wins, countless home field advantages throughout the play-offs, one of the best Qb's ever, and only won the big one once. If they get a real team instead of the worst team to ever make the SB(Bears) who knows.Honestly, I think that team was in cruise mode at that point...
Though I couldn't care less..Not my problem to worry about...
But I do think that some Colts fans reaction to this game is based on the fact that they have maybe the greatest QB to ever play the game...Tons of receiving targets, a good O-line, some big time defensive players and an overall solid D, many record setting players and performances, many winning seasons, tons of division championships, two trips to the Superbowl...But only one ring to show for it all...
I have two younger brothers that are twins...One is a die hard Colts fan...The other a die hard Pats fan...Of course the one that is a Colts fan has a Patriot complex...
I always mess with my brother that's a Colts fan with the same thing I said above...All of those accomplishments and only one Superbowl...Of course he talks about how the Texans have never made the play-offs, and I just say that all we'd have to do is win one Superbowl (not an easy task I know, but still) and we'd have the same amount as the vaunted Colts.
I know that this won't sound right coming from a fan of the Texans, but IMHO, that team has underachieved considering their measure should be Superbowl wins...
Peyton Manning and the Colts have won the same amount of Superbowls as the Trent Dilfer led Baltimore Ravens....The Eli Manning led gang of Rascals...
The Colts are put on the pedestal of the upper echelon teams in the league, but hell...Drew Brees and the Saints have caught them, Tom Brady (the Pats) and Ben Ro. (the Steelers) are light years ahead of them...
Colts fans probably look at that team and expect more rings or at least Superbowl appearances. I don't blame them.
Honestly, I don't put that organization up on a pedestal because they haven't done as much as they should have done. Most of their success can be directly related to Peyton Manning. He is bigger than the organization...Which is a shame because he often times appears kind of whiny out on the football field to me...I guess I just mistake whiny for passionate though...
We could have absolutely crushed them. And we didn't play all that well on Offense. Until the 239 yards and 2 tds in the fourth quarter, they had no answer for our D. None.Agreed. But that's what the losing team normally does.
I bet no one on the Colts board talked about how if Matt Schaub wouldn't have thrown the INT or if Jacoby had caught the TD that he dropped...
We had some dropped balls and some unfortunate things in our favor as well...
But in the end, we were the better team on Sunday.
You take Manning away from the Colts and how many games would they win each year? The Colts remind me a lot of the Bills of the early 90s. Had a very solid QB (albeit not as good as Manning) and a good run game with a solid defense. Made it to the Super Bowl 4x and never won.
Although I will disagree with anyone who says that because Manning has only won 1 it will diminish his legacy. Football is too much a team sport to say that one player affected the outcome of a game.
Who said anything about Manning's legacy being diminished?Although I will disagree with anyone who says that because Manning has only won 1 it will diminish his legacy. Football is too much a team sport to say that one player affected the outcome of a game.
I don't know, because if you take Manning off of the Colts they could afford a lot of better linemen. You take Manning away from the Colts and how many games would they win each year?
Well, you can lead a horse to water...I don't know, because if you take Manning off of the Colts they could afford a lot of better linemen.
In the end, the Colts suck because they don't have David Carr on the cheap, LOL. I told them to trade us, but they don't listen.
