Okay, this is a straight up pick'em league. You pick a winner for every game, for every week.

I just joined as well. This is a continuous Pick 'em league, so you will be able to play it all season. The league I made is a Survival league in which you must pick a winner each week or you are out. Both look like fun, we just need to get more people to join them!!

Maybe neither. She picks with her heart and that means I have to talk her down from San Francisco every week. This year that might not be such a hassle in terms of the Niners potential, but in past years it's a damned shame....lol.

I'm sure you can join at any time guys,

But it's getting close to the first game, and it would be nice if you were in it from the beginning, so get on over to yahoo, sign up, and get yer picks in before Kickoff.
 
I've got tonight's pick done. Geez I hate Week 1 in terms of picks. We don't know who's hot or not, good or bad except what we read and what happened last year.

Having said that, I WIN!!!!!!!! :texflag: :worldpeace:

Sorry, I'm a newbie & didn't know how everyone would feel about that, so I left it at it's default, which was off.


I can look to see if it will let me turn it on, if that's what everyone (or even most everyone) wants.

I think most people prefer it disabled.

I usually play in at least one league that's straight up picks like what we have and then one league with the confidence enabled.

I personally don't care one way or another as long as I have 1 straight up pickem league.

Along with all my fantasy teams, I've got a pickem league and a pick against the spread league. Picking against the spread is tough
 
One more question; don't know if everyone has peeked at the standings but it seems like 5 folks are in 1st place and umpteen folks are in 6th place. We all have one correct. WTH? Why isn't everyone who didn't try to pick an upset (meaning pick the Vikes) in 1st place??

Probably something to do with their tie breakers or something.

The five people who are in first picked New Orleans to score the most points this week which is the second tie breaker. Considering the Saints only scored 14 points I would assume that a lot of teams will score more points this week.

I like the strategy aspect of having confidence points but really it's no big deal. It's fine the it is as far as I'm concerned. Let's have fun. :twocents:
