Just In Case You Forgot...

I'm still pissed that Indy didn't get a 15 yard personal foul for tackling Cushing out of bounds on that INT. He was about 3 yards out.

I'm gonna be so pumped this year for opening week. It's time we make a statement against them early.

Makes me die a little every time I think about how we should have.

A majority of my Texans pride and hope last season died at the end of the MNF game against the titans. To this day, it pains me to think of how I felt afterwards. :gun:

You can be a realist and still be a downer. By the same token, you can be a realist and also optimistic.

This could be a very hopeful time of year for you as a Texans fan if you would just let it be. I was heart broken too but I'm excited about what's to come because there are many things to be excited about such as the highlights above.

That night made me realize that Kubes might not be the man for the job.

But I will remain a Texans fan long after Kubes is gone.

I hear ya, bro. I don't consider myself a downer and I am optimistic. I will, however, temper my enthusiastic optimism until I start seeing consistent results on the field. I've tried to tell myself the past couple years not to get too emotionally involved, but I do and it's damn near enough to bring a 6'5" 240lber to his knees. Hopefully I can hold that off until.....maybe the first snap of pre-season. lol

I'm not trying to be a downer...I simply think that it was very obvious that Cushing was tackled out of bounds by a longshot. The prior week, Cushing was flagged for a love tap on a certain player who had a shoelace out of bounds.

Well said. I'm actually watching the sloppy second half of the MIA game right now.

By the way guys, try not to take this stuff that I'm saying too seriously. I'm not ever going to call someone a "debbie-downer" as a serious snub.

Ha, what a coincidence. I watched the 1st half of that game last night when the Stros began to flounder. Their NG's put a beating on Myers.

Dude, Andre is crazy awesome.... I just spent the last 20 or 30 minutes watching a collage of different AJ videos..... I got all fired up.

Okay, I'm just gonna say it. If we can stay healthy this season we're going to the playoffs and we're going to win the Superbowl.

Okay, I'm just gonna say it. If our coaches can pull their heads out of their asses this season we're going to the playoffs and we're going to win the Superbowl.

fixed

And yes, I still blame at least 2-3 losses last year on terrible coaching decisions.

yeah how didnt we beat indy last year

I guess its manning he never quits the hole team never Gives up and they never get off focus

or i guess the keys to winning in this leauge is Protect your QB which they do

and Sack the other teams QB alot which they did Freeny and mathis were all over schaub and we didnt protect him has good has they did manning

My 8-year-old son as we were walking to the parking lot after the game:

"Why do people say f*&k Tennessee and f*&k the Titans in the restroom?"

"Because we don't like them, son. We don't like them. And don't say that word anymore."

It's ok in connection with Tennessee :)

Now CJ is a hero and folks are acting like SS is slag who never should have been a starter.

I think this is a valid position, and Steve Slaton's injury is proof. The argument, was that he is too small to carry the load as the primary back, he won't last.

We haven't heard anything, other than from the rumour-mill, about SS's situation. From the rumour-mill, it hard to believe he'll return to form, if he even makes it back to the team.

It's not that he isn't talented... he's too small.

The 3 headed monster of Slaton, Tate and Foster will crush. #80 will destroy. Schaub will be a sniper. Demeco will punish. Jackson will isolate. And that's before Cush comes back in week 5. We will be ok Texans fans.

Good post, a breath of fresh air around this place right now.
