Has anyone hear from Pitts?

Yesterday I was looking at interviews on HT.com and noticed all these players being interviewed about being 9-7. The only guy I didn't hear from was the guy that's been here since day 1 not named Kris Brown - Chester Pitts. I'm curious as to what he thinks about the winning record.

I think he gives himself a daily Gatoraide shower. Frankly, I don't think 9-7 means any more to the guys than 7-9 means after they look back at the season. If they don't have an empty feeling about this year I'd be disappointed in them. This 9-7 and we are winners! stuff is sickening.

*See AJ's interview*

I think he might've been sick, but the guy sounded as if someone gutted his dog in front of him.

Ugh! He deserves the playoffs and a chance at a championship.

I have not seen him for months, but if you close your eyes and listen closely you can still hear clarinets when walking down Kirby.

Vinny I like your thinking more and more.. Anyone want to ask the Patriots how they feel about going undefeated except for the big game?

So is the FO going forward this offseason as if Pitts and Brisiel are the starters at their spots? Are we that confident that they'll return to 100% health?

Pitts is doing fine,,,rehabing real hard about 12 hours a day,,,talk to him at least once a week,,,he'd like to stay here as a Texan,,,

Tell him we're pulling for him.

But don't tell him we've pulled for other people before and the results haven't always been stellar.

maybe I've missed it, but I haven't seen one interview where any player or coach said they were satisfied or content with their 9-7 record. Happy they recorded their first winning season...yes, but these guys are just as much the competitors as the players on the teams in the playoffs are. To suggest they are content not being in the playoffs is a sorry statement, and an uninformed one as well.

I think Vinny's response is to the posters here on TT imo.

Good post. No one in their right mind honestly believes the players are happy or even mildly content that they finished out of the playoffs. When you don't make the playoffs, the players are - and should be - disappointed. Maybe they are glad they finally got that "no winning seasons ever" gorilla off their backs, but that's probably where any good feelings about this year comes to a screeching halt.
and that goes for me too.

Perhaps we should say "our first winning season" instead of 9-7. Or do you think our players don't have a vested interest in the success/history of this franchise.
