Dallas vs Carolina

AMEN, how sad is that? To salvage week 3 I'm hoping for a cowboy loss, oh how I yearn for the days when the Texans will be kicking ass and I could care less how the boys do.

That first drive is a microcosm of the last few years as a fan...great plays, bad plays and sacks and ending in disappointment.:gun:

I support the Cowboys (crown jewel of Texas football imho..texas pride 1st) but Jerry Jones makes it hard to do so

Its like having Skeletor own the cowboys.
 
I'm not surprised. We will see how it goes. Offense moves the all and then shoots itself in the foot. Same thing that has happened the last few years and a Wade team trait...lots of penalties. Let's see if someone steps up.
 
So, someone should tell those fans up in Dallas that when your offense is on the field and it's 4th and Goal inside the one that they should pipe down......LMAO.
 
Well why can't they have this drive for a full game?Flozell needs to get punched in the yam bag for his 200 false starts a year. Too bad felix strained something. People can't stop that guy.

Luckily..I was nervous there after they blew the 2 shots from the 1. I mean come on Garrett, the carolina D line was gassed. Run it at them twice with that big O-line

Bobby Carpenter is a waste of space and the worst of Parcells picks.

I had prevent..just play how you did when you stuffed them for a half.

Yeah, I never quite figured that out. Then you had (don't know his name) from Carolina seemingly getting out of bounds and then turning it back in for a lost "time out."

Just bad play calling. A case of someone trying to get cute when the Carolina D line had hand on the hips. Yeah, that guy ran back in bounds and Bobby Carpenter didn't want to tackle him. I'll take the win.

I didn't see the whole game, but I just got my first real look at Victor Butler, that boy is going to be something special based on what little I saw.
 
Whew! My son took my tickets and was keeping me up to date on the pulse at the stadium. YeS they were calling for KitnA in the-1st hAlf Appears Romo got the message. Good 2nd half Cowboys!

Carpenter is horrible. I can't believe they've kept him all these years.

I have to say this about Jerry and his horrid drafting...he has done something right because the Cowboys have a very nice group of RB's.

Can't keep Felix in games but Choice is good.

And as Showtime said Victor Butler looked good last night.
 
For all the talking Steve Smith did on the sideline he sure didn't do much on the field.

He was the direct cause of Newman's pick six. He broke off his slant route and let the ball go directly into Newman's body. Delhomme may not be a great QB but he isn't getting much help out there from his WR's.

Carolina only calling 14 running plays is pathetic.

I loved the Tashard Choice draft pick at the time and it is really paying off now. Victor Butler was a nice surprise. Bobby Carpenter is garbage.

Hard for Smith to do a whole lot when he's being doubled the entire game and has a terrible passing QB. Smith is one of the biggest gamers in the entire league in my opinion. He's always ready to play. Delhomme is simply horrible. I told people before the season that Carolina would struggle because Delhomme has gotten gradually worse every year. The guy was completely exposed in the playoffs last season and Carolina made one of the biggest and most stupid management decisions by extending him at the end of last year. Carolina needs a new QB.

I agree. Carolina deserved to lose last night. They have a below average QB and below average WRs (outside of Smith). All you have to do is double Smith and contain the run.

Fortunately for Dallas, Carolina decided not to even try to run. So all Dallas had to do was double Smith in the secondary and have the front seven pin their ears back and go for the QB.

The Giants did nothing on the ground either. Eli was the one that killed them last week.

They still gave the RBs 25 carries, which kept the defense honest. It is the threat to run, not the ability, that sells play action.

Plus, Eli is a better QB than Delhomme. That helped.
