Just a heads up to everyone, Sunday August 2 at 12pm EST, Sirius NFL Radio hosts will be on site at Texans training camp. Last year they had some great interviews

I'll post some highlights, if im not at work and can catch the show
 
Awesome man, thanks for the heads-up. I'm always intrested to hear what the national audience has to say about the Texans.
 
Signed up for the free seven day trial, listening now. So far, talking bout the fan interaction and the fact that this is a team that does everything right and have a chance to be a playoff team and also talking about our recent drafts.
 
In the intro Gill Brandt took a little shot at the cowgirls for running camp inside while the Texans seem to be braving the heat. Maybe implied the girls were weak.
 
big props to Walter as they said the Texans are only behind Arizona in 1-2 punch of the wide receiver corps.

I didn't realize that Dre, Shaub, and Slatton were only the 5th trio in the last 20 years to combine for that many yards. I think we are on our way up.

I heard them mention yesterday that the Texans camp tour would be rebroadcast after the Bears camp is over. Yesterday they replayed the cowboys camp right after the patriots coverage. I think it will be around 7PM eastern. (I think the Bears only get 3hrs coverage as opposed to the 4 we got.)

And Schaub was injured last year, too. Imagine a full season... This year! :)

Texans are the 5th team in the last 20 years to have 3 players with a very high yardage (AJ, Schaub, Slaton)

Steve Slaton:
wants at least 20 touches/game
is striving for 200+ more yards this year

David Anderson:
Shaved his head to model Schuab
Him and AD are going to shave Cushings head tonight (accord to Anderson)
Said one thing he would like to change is that houston is a "2nd Quarter Crowd" - c he notices no one is in their seats at kickoff
On Schaub going golfling with Walter instead of him: He doesn't take me...He needs backup when he is hitting people with golf balls. So he cant take a short white guy."

Took too much time off last year- he has been working since Feb

DeMeco:
"Not my job to deal with contracts" - focusing on playing

Kubes:
w/ Dunta not there younger CBs are stepping up
Said Foster looked like a young Chris Brown
Said he could c a big jump for Xavier this year

R. Smith:
Looks for Foster to take a big role this year
Definetly considering taking 3 QBs into the season

Cushing:
Played college at 255-260lbs, slimmed down for 40 time

they had a few other interview, but nothing new was stated
