The Andre & Matt Show (Texans vs. Miami) about to start on NFLN

We made so many mistakes in this game, we were lucky to be in it in the 4th.

Andre Fumbles in the red zone, Schuab starts the game with two picks, we over comitted on the Wild-Cat, gave up the big play to Cobb, Greenwood was our leading tackler.

Ugly, Ugly game. But this is the kind that builds character. I'm glad, our guys didn't give up.

Matt Schuab won this game. That final drive, that's putting a team on your back.

Kudos to Matt.

And it is that reason why this game scares me next year. Porter? Us on the road?

We're due to lose a game against Miami anyway. Call it Karma. We've never lost to them before.

I just hope no one gets seriously hurt.

I think this game was a team effort. They kept telling themselves on the sidelines they were going to win this game. Andre's 4th and 10 catch, and his abuse of the Miami DBs, Kevin Walter's 4th quarter grab, Mario's sacks, Jacoby Jones punt return.

The Eugene Wilson damn near put me in the hospital though.

Forgot to mention Joey Porter having his way with Duane Brown.

We were talking shart to porter all game. Thank god for the cameras and security. I have a feeling that the dude might have had a prison shank in his sock or something. Homeboy's got a pretty nasty disposition. We shouted all kinds of vulgar things at him and his reaction was just a crazy ass stare, a little scary too.

fixed it for you...
and I agree. I hadn't been that p.o.'d since the previous week. He's lucky we won anyway.

This was the game that will forever leave a part of me at Reliant Stadium. I remember being so pissed (and drunk) after Ronnie Brown scored what I thought was the winning TD, that I ripped my Dunta jersey and threw it down one of the holes in the stadium that the AC vents come up out of; and since the Texans ended up winning, it was worth the sacrafice, however, next time I go to a game, and we are in a similar situation, I will take something a little less expensive to sacrafice if it helps the Texans win.

My father-in-law, wife's sisters, and her cousins from the Fort Laud./Miami area will love that and I hope to never see the day. :gun:

Ronnie Brown and his dumb ass "shot through the heart" celebration was all for nothing... :heh:

That pissed me off so bad at the time, I bet he felt like he got shot through the heart when Schaub scored that game winning TD.

I DVR'd it (and hopefully I'll have enough space to keep it) and I've had the NFLN on as I've been working the past couple of days. I've seen the end of that game about 3x now. I love it.

Do we have anyone like that on our team right now?
Short answer: NO!
thats what we need: PERIOD!

You do know Andre fumbled a ball, and Schuab threw two ill advised throws which resulted in INTs, and he still continued to try to force the ball.......

There were a lot of mistakes in this game. No reason to call anyone player out, for any of them. It was a poor show as a team, at times...... mixed with a lot of damn good play.

Yep I know we kinda stunk it up at times. But, give 'em credit, they pulled one out of their anatomy when it counted. A 180 turnaround from the previous week when they gave away what should have been a sure win vs. the colts.

I just watched this last night. Jesussss.......the Texans looked so hot and cold. One minute they were flawless, the next they looked like a high school team. I'm surprised they won, but it was nice to seem them pull it out. Miami really screwed up their defensive coverage on that very last play with Schaub running it in, otherwise Matt might still be trying to live down losing the game.

But whatever, they won a game when they didn't look so good and that's very important.

I think they did the same thing, on the play before. There was a huge hole in front of Schuab, and I was saying, "Run!!!" but he tried to force it to Andre.

The next play looked dang near the same, except that the draw was in.
