this past sunday and beating the colts that last x-mas eve (thereby winning the superbowl indirectly) were great games, yes, but nothing matches 19 - 10. nothing.

I still voted for this one. The Titans are supposed to be the best in the NFL right now and they are the team we should hate the most. It doesn't surprise me at all that we had trouble in the redzone, because we are not great at that and they are great at stopping it. The fact that we overcame those kinds of problems and beat them is huge.
This win also puts us in a position to have our first winning season. We have never been in this position this late in the season. It's a shame we have no chance of making the play-offs, but this is the next step toward getting there. The next one (for next year) is getting in position to actually make them instead of just going over .500.

I don't think anything can ever top the 19-10 game until we win a game that clinches a playoff spot. As much as I loved (and I mean loved in an almost unhealthy way) beating the Tacks yesterday, a late-season, playoff-eliminated 13-12 win to got to 7-7 should not go down in history.
Put another way - 5 years from now, there is no doubt in my mind that 19-10 will still be a highlight. If yesterday's win is viewed by Texan fans similarly, then we will not be anywhere close to where we want to be as a Franchise.

I still hate that we can easily identify our biggest wins by the score.

That being said I would vote for 13-12 because it is the only one that is not from the Carr era.

Hopefully our "best win" will be against Chicago in a couple of weeks to give us our first winning season!
This one put us in that position, though. I might still have to say this one, but it just depends on what exactly happens.

I think the 13-12 win has the potential to be the biggest, but it only matters if the Texans take care of business the next 2 weeks and make the most of this opportunity. If they lose either game and fail to get to 9-7 then this win loses its significance to me.
The 19-10 was a nice win in the team's first ever game against the hated Cowboys. That wasn't a strong Cowboys team and the Texans were more emotionally charged.
The 27-24 was against the team that owned us for the first 4.5 years (they've since owned us again, but we've tightened that chasm). This team went on to win the Super Bowl that year and they weren't resting their stars. The Texans then came out and won a lackluster game against Cleveland to end the season on a winning note for the first time ever. They built upon those 2 wins and ended up starting 2-0 for the first time ever the next season giving the Texans their very first 4 game win streak.

19-10 may have been the most satisfying, and probably was. But as far as maturity and solidifying of a team from a perennial also-ran to a bona fide potential playoff team in '09, 13-12 is the one.
This year's Texans have shown something they have never consistently shown in the past -- the ability to find ways to win, this in a franchise with a history of finding ways to LOSE.
It doesn't always mean mistake-free football. It doesn't always mean being the better team on the field. But it's an attitude among the players AND the coaches -- this time, instead of folding at the end like we've done for so many years, we're going to finish this thing and find a way to win.
The teams with winning traditions don't always dominate on the field. But they win the games they should win and steal a few that they shouldn't. And if you look at the Texans season *after* the Rosencopter game, that's been pretty much true. The games they clearly deserved to lose, they've lost. But they've won all the games where they were clearly the better team, AND they've been finding ways to win -- yes, WIN! -- games that could have gone other way.
Until recently, the Texans' record in games that "could go either way" was rather abysmal. Lately, they are winning those games a lot more than they are losing them, and that is a big step toward building a winning attitude.
So yeah -- yelling "Suck it, Cowboys!" at the TV was satisfying, but even so it didn't feel like one game that transformed losers into winners -- I didn't feel like we were really watching the transformation of a team from losers to winners. And even after a lot of apprehension and caution about making such a declaration after the last couple of wins, I really do think that if we can keep it up, we may be watching a group of losers growing up before our eyes into a group of winners. I haven't always been a huge fan of the coaching decisions Kubes has made or those of his staff, but I have to say I love the attitude he has his team playing with. There's no quit in this bunch, which makes it so much more rewarding to cheer them on. It's hard to care about the outcome of a game when it feels like the team itself doesn't care. Gary Kubiak teams don't quit, which makes it much easier to still care even after playoff chances this year approached nil.
With a little more sustained improvement in penalties and turnovers, little in the way of serious injuries -- and if the aliens who kidnapped Richard Smith and called the defensive plays in his place remain next year -- this looks like a 10 win team to me in '09, and with a few bounces, maybe 11. They really are growing up, and I don't think it's a "false start" this time. The Texans are clearly learning how to be winners.

IF the Texans beat the Raiders next week, and then IF they can go on to beat the Bears to finish with their first-ever winning season, that Bears game would probably be the one. But for now, I'll take what's setting the Texans up for that chance.
Beating Dallas in our very 1st game is STILL the best win for us. I thoroughly enjoy the few times we beat division opponents, but I really want us to win a game that's more meaningful to us than playing spoiler. Yes, winning yesterday means we can win out and have a winning season for the 1st time in team history, but that means less to me than the 2 or 3 games earlier in the year that we sh(c)ould have won that would've made this weeks win a LOT more important than beating our old used to be's. Maybe I should let those games go and quit with the "what if's", but I feel very bitter about those games. BTW, yesterdays game was my 1st to attend and it was AWESOME> Now that I've seen one game....I wanna see the rest of them. It felt SOOOOOO good to talk trash to an annoying tack fan that was a few seats from us.He wasn't too happy when I asked him how that whole VY thing was working out for them. 
yeah, I can certainly understand everyone's perspectives. I voted 19-10 because, as our first game in franchise history, it had some meaning to us fans that had suffered w/o football and endured the Oilers.
But the sweep of the Tits in '04 was nice, as was the Christmas Eve win over the Colts. Yesterday would definitely be in my top 5 (we've only got 39 to choose from, btw).
I mentioned the potential for Chicago, though, simply because we might be in position to actually have a winning season, and that would feel pretty dern good to this fanbase.
It's all good, though. It's all about perspective and appreciating the different ones of each individual fan.

All of them were great win for us.
But I like the first game we ever play against the Cowboys because most of my family like the Cowboys and I hate them.

Because they play in another division and conference. We play 2 games against our division opponents every year, 1 AFC division, 1 NFC division, then against teams who placed the same within their division. Next year, we'll play a 3rd place schedule, meaning we'll play teams who placed 3rd in their divisions, also. That's why we play the Browns and Raiders so often.All of them were great win for us.
