I hope he wants it bad enough to get me LOTS of fantasy points!! I need um!! My Texans didn't make the playoffs, BUT, I did!! I need MS and AJ to shine Sunday. NO interceptions PLEASE!!!!
Have we had a game this year where we haven't had an INT?

i bet everything haynes is gonna call shaub out in the presser again this week.
mental tactics
I wish he played for us.That fat bastard just needs to get his big obnoxious payday and fade back into the realm of "not really working hard anymore because I got my humongous contract" obscurity.
Where exactly is midtown Houston? I've always thought of Houston as downtown ( where the big, tall buildings are) and the suburbs. New York City, Chicago, etc. have uptown, mid town and downtown, but their not as spread out as Houston or LA are. Just curious. That fat bastard just needs to get his big obnoxious payday and fade back into the realm of "not really working hard anymore because I got my humongous contract" obscurity.

I wish he played for us AND EVERY YEAR WAS A CONTRACT YEAR FOR HIM.
Fixed it for you. I don't think he'll be on fire once he gets his large payday.
Gotcha. H-Town is gettin all uppity and such.Midtown is just south of downtown and east of Montrose and north/west of 59. It really wasn't much of anything until gentrification a couple years back, and now it's a decent place to live if you don't mind the occasional homeless person wandering around. I could walk to the Toyota Center and bike over to Minute Maid if I wanted, so we're still pretty darn close to downtown.
He may surprise you. I think he's just a very large, very mean man who wants to inflict pain. Gamechecks are icing on the cake. I may be wrong, but that's how I feel about it.Fixed it for you. I don't think he'll be on fire once he gets his large payday.
As a rule, I agree with you. It would be nice to have someone with that nasty attitude bringing it on 3rd and long from the middle for the Texans, though. And y'all wonder why I think it's pointless to sign high profile free agents.
Schaub is one of the reasons we haven't beaten the Tacks in his starts vs. them.

We have only one QB in Texans history that has beaten the Titans....and he was also under center the one and only time we beat the Colts!
hmmmm, wonder who that was....
Schaub only had two quarters of play combined against the Tacks last year and didn't have any turnovers during his time--hard to put those two L's on him. The last game is obviously a different matter.

Dude, seriously! You're going to get second honeymoon all up in a tizzy again.

Alex Gibbs needs to teach them the art of cut-blocking so Haynesworth can be put on his ass!! Our o-line needs to protect Schaub at ALL costs, even if it means some penalties. I'd much rather suffer some yellow flags than seeing Matt on the ground surrounded by doctors and trainers.
Chester needs to come out fired up like against the Jags. He is the main guy for handling Haynesworth.
Would that be the same guy who beat the Arlington Cowboys ?We have only one QB in Texans history that has beaten the Titans....and he was also under center the one and only time we beat the Colts!

Tony Banks... Yeah, that's it. It was Tony....
I'm pretty sure it was Dave Ragone.

Hmm......here I thought it was B.J. Symons this whole time.
Now, now, our mystery QB had much better hair than any of the chumps y'all mentioned... it was bangin'!

That's why I said "one of" the reasons. The cheapshot notwithstanding, I want Schaub to go out there and prove he can take the pounding and beat the Tacks. It's probably too much to ask, what with guys going after his knees.
Maybe it was Drew HensonHeisman trophy winner Danny Wuerffel?
I keep seeing comments about the cheap shot and I know the play you are talking about but do you honestly believe it was a cheap shot. Hard hit yes but cheap shot I really don't think is accurate.
This is the play I assume:
*Honest question not meant to be smack
You sure that that was the hit where he went out?

Helmet to helmet......... check
Driving QB into turf....... check
That's the cheap shot.
There are too many rules to protect the QB.
The helmet to helmet is questionable ... if AH shift his helmet more near the shoulder it defiantly would not be. From the angle that is hard to call and would be pretty soft IMO.
He has his hands wrapped around Schaub in order to tackle him and in the process of taking him down landed on him. While a brutal hit I do not see that as driving a guy to the turf. The ball left right as AH was hitting him.
Shaub is 2/3 of the way to the turf and AH's foot is still on the ground. I would imagine to drive a guy to the turf Haynsworth would have to be fully airborne at this point in the play.
One thing I have noticed about Schaub is he has pocket presence enough to get the ball out but not to avoid the huge hits. I recall a play where KVB got around on him last season and he went through a full throwing motion and got his elbow grabbed and stopped in the motion. That is a pretty easy way to dislocate a shoulder especially with the power an NFL QB puts into his throwing motion.
.... Says the head stomper.Albert Haynesworth, Titans defensive tackle: "They always talk about us being dirty, maybe they need to look at that, trying to hurt people and stuff. If they aren't man enough to stay up, shoot, they shouldn't be in the league then. The coach, either."
Meh... I'm not worried about Fat Albert this time around. He will be too busy whining about the Texans blocking scheme, like before the season started.

I am not so sure that is the greatest idea to keep Schaub on the field. If the Titans D-Line gets the feeling that the Texans O-line is trying to purposely injure one of its own I have a feeling the hits are going to be much harder on Schaub and well turn about is fair play. With Schaubs injury issues the day could be very short for him especially if he gets that deer in headlights look he tends to get right before he gets hit.
Exactly, turnabout is fair play.
Karma sucks, huh?? Ask Jared Allen!!!
