Vote for Kubiak for Coach of the Week

I'll vote for him because I'm a homer and a fan - but we didn't win Sunday becuase of Kubiak. Far from it... and I love Kubes.

I swear. You people are the most schizo folks this side of Brittney Spears.
Ya ***** and ***** and cry and whine that we never get any favorable press. Then when the head coach gets a little notoriety, you say the media is crazy.

I'm voting for the home town boy. Its a "family" mentality thing. Inside OUR house, my kid might not do everything I think he should, but that don't mean I'm gonna broadcast that to the neighborhood and not support him every chance I get against some other loser kid.

Look at it this way. If you can't/won't vote for Kubiak, you're saying that Romeo Crennell or Jim Hasslet are better coaches. I think not. You can bet the folks in Cleveland and St. Louis will vote for their respective guys.

I agree with you. I'm not one of the crazies - I just think that in this particular game, Kubiak wasn't the reason we won. Nothing makes me more sick as a fan than people who scream FIRE ______!!! at the first sign of struggle or hard times.

And its not so much that any of the 3 candidates had outstanding coaching weekends its that two guys brought their teams out of the ranks of the winless and the third guy knocked off the undefeated, World Champion Giants. And that deserves recognition....

But I mean, if I were picking candidates, they'd be:
- Jon Gruden - He had Tampa Bay in ambush mode when everyone expected Carolina to come down there and give the Buccs a beatdown.
- Tony Dungy - Again, the talkingheads had this being a knockdown, dragout, low-scoring game. Dungy's boys punked the rookie HC and QB and drew up a gameplan that made Ray Lewis & Co. look like old men.
- Ken Whisenhunt - Anyone who beats the Cowpies gets an automatic nomination. Plus, he really has the perennial mediocre Cards believing in themselves. Points off for calling that "freeze-the-kicker" timeout though.
- Romeo Crennell - see above

anyhow, my rant switch is now in the OFF position
:rant:

Gary....Kubiak....fooorrrrrr....coach of the....week????:spit::jogger::photos::headhurts::embarrass:tearup::phone::

That might be the silliest thing I have read in a very long time. While we are at it let's nominate OJ Simpson for husband of the year!
