Would Mario have been there at #4?

I don't know how many will disagree with me but I think Mario would have been there at the #4 pick. They are reporting that the Jets are talking to the Saints about moving up. Even if the Jets weren't offering all they should have for the #1 pick, at least take what they are offering if you want Williams because I have to believe he would have been there at 4. If not, there still would have been a great player.

Why Williams at 4? Let's say the Jets trade up to 1. Everyone knows they want Bush. The Saints drafted a stud at DE a couple of seasons ago in Will Smith so they are set at that position. Chances are they take D'Brick. At 3 Bud wants a QB. The Titans either take Young or Leinhart. That leaves Williams at 4.

I don't see how they couldn't trade down AND if the Jets and Saints pull a deal today I will be TEED.

I do not think he would fall to #4 since he is who the Texans wanted and to make sure they got him they had to stay at #1.

That was the problem. I wanted Mario but wanted us to move down. Since noone was dealing with us and we were stuck I think that taking Bush should have been the call. I love Mario on D but I think the O, if Carr improved, would have been set for years. My hope now is to move back into the 1st round and get D'Angelo or someone like that.

They wouldn't have. They would have taken the Brick. Tacks take VY, and Williams is there at 4. That's not the problem. The problem is that the Jets wouldn't trade up with us. There also was no trade by them to the Saints so they could take Bush.
