worst draft class

so, i'm bored as all get out and have been looking at that drafthistory.com for a little bit. and, since there is no good news going on, what do you think was the worst (recent) draft year?

i'd say '02. bunch of high-pick busts and overall lack of stars. '05 came in 2nd. not many good players that year. Brown, Braylon, caddilac seem to be the only decent players that year.

the first round of the '92 draft is dreadful.

as for individual teams, look at miami's '87 draft. putrid.

the Texans sure started in a hole w/2002 class then just dug themselves deeper all for the bargain basement price of 700+ million

I remember thinking 2000 was bad, but when I looked it up, this just sticks out
17. Sebastian Janikowski Raiders.

I would be getting a rope if the Texans if ever drafted a kicker in the first round.

Overall, I don't think 02 was too bad, just too many busts in the top 4. I guess not coincidentally, 02 and 05 were the years of our worst first round picks.

Our 02 wasn't that bad, from teh 12 picks we got 4 starters, 1 is on another team and 7 are out of the NFL. Great? No; big time suckage? Also a no.

Tampa had 8 picks in 02, got 1 starter the rest are out of the NFL. Now that sucks.
