Will the Jags Contend for 2014's #1 Pick?

I was perusing over the Jags roster and noticed Alan Ball is their top CB on the roster. He and Trufant appear to be their core secondary. Seriously? They've got a decent Dline and Poz at LB, but this secondary's going to be lit up.

Throw that in with an offense that will likely have Henne (if they're smart) and MJD leading the way.

I think they'll easily challenge for next years #1 pick unless they have miraculous performances from rookies

Either the Jags or the Raiders will have the #1 next year IMO. Who that pick will be remains to be seen, but there is a great crop of talent in the top 10 next year. Bridgewater, Clowney, Johnny Football, Tajh Boyd, Marquis Lee... lots of talent to go around. Maybe the Jags take Manziel and let Joeckel protect his blind side for years to come.
