Will Fred-Ex deliver for KC

R U Serious? I mean this is so funny I can't even take it serious as a thread and am clearly bored just to be replying to it.

Well he didn't deliver when he had McNabb and Duces in philly, not to mention the fact that he just plain sucks.

I'm a bit puzzled as to why Hakim decided to back out of his deal with KC. He's had success under Vermeil before, and there clearly isn't alot of competition at WR in KC. He could be the #3 or #4 WR at worst. I'm not sure of any other team where he could get the same role.

Isn't the guy just full of himself too. I can't imagine what Vermeil sees in 'em. They must either be desparate or plan to run the ball like, oh I don't know..........Every play maybe.

I haven't seen an article, but I heard on ESPN Gameday (John Clayton) yesterday. That Hakim broke his handshake deal with the Chiefs because the Saints offered him more money. They said a contract is in the works but has not been finalized yet.

That is a great system for WRs, there is no way he won't produce. We all must be forgetting how inacurate McNabb was for most of Freddy's career

Hakim made the handshake agreement thinking that Vermeil had promised him that he would be a starter, but when Vermeil said there were no guarantees, Hakim decided to go to New Orleans, where he'd make more money and get more playing time...

As far as Freddie Mitchell goes, I think KC made a good move by signing him...This is a very low risk high reward situation for them since they signed him to a 1 year deal for the vet minimum...Worst case scenario, he sits on the bench all season and doesn't take up much cap space...Best case scenario, he becomes a solid WR for them and lives up to his draft position...
