Wild Card Sunday

Seattle @ Minnesota is about to get underway. I'm interested to see how Teddy Bridgewater does today against a very good Seattle defense.

3-0 cold, defensive affair in the 1st half. Bridgewater has looked 'ok' so far: 9/13 for 68 yards.

Temperature has risen to -2. I have two games on my bucket list next year, Minnesota and Green Bay. If correct Minnesota will be in the new stadium and only possible problem will be getting there. Then there's Lambeau, all I can do is pray for favorable weather. It's hard for me to think or feel how sitting sub zero could be enjoyment.

All these low scoring, defensive battles in the playoffs so far (at least our game was until Watt got hurt). I'm thinking the GB/Wsh game will be anything but. Finally might get some offense in that game.

Wow.

Neither QB was spectacular. Wilson was cold all day but mustered just enough offense at the end to grab the lead.

Bridgewater was efficient, safe, and kept his team in position to win. This is why nobody likes kickers.

For all you youngsters out there who were not around for the Oilers, this is exactly the way the Oilers would lose so many playoff games.

I found myself wondering who was playing tonight. ooops.

Pretty interesting game in DC. 11-7 and Green Bay just got a turnover.

17-11 GB at the half. Rodgers getting those two 12 men penalties on that first TD drive jump-started their offense.

Wow. On that TD play by Washington I can't believe where Mathews was and even his positioning.

He was out on the wideouts because there were many, but looking inside. Seemingly not even thinking about coverage.

Just strange, IMO.

18-17 Washington. I'm picking the winners, but point spreads are killing me...lol.

Roads teams went 4-0 this week & all four teams were the favorites. Looking ahead to next week, 3 of the 4 games will be rematches and I feel like I just got done watching two of them. Carolina beat Seattle 27-23 week 6. Pittsburgh beat Denver week 15 (34-27) and Arizona destroyed Green Bay week 16 (38-8). Should be some fun revenge games and I would expect GB to put up more of a fight next week in Arizona.
