Why did the NFL loose interest in a trade?

LOL Well Charley C. is leaving us a good bye present, he passed on extra picks, but he picked up a great DE. I think we could have negotiated to take Mario and picked up an additional pick, I think Charley is a Lier! He does this every year. I thought it was Coach Capers before, but I know now that it was Charley C making the calls all along! He will be hated in this town forever! There is no way that they can say that New York didn't make the offer to give up those two first round picks. I wonder what the Texans Headquarters did that made the NFL cut-throat the Texans?

It's been widely reported that the Texans tried to get the Jets to trade up, but they wouldn't bite. Besides if, as they say, Mario Williams was "the guy" that they wanted, he wouldn't have been available at 4. The saints were taking him at number 2.

Yea but if you pick up D'Brick at #4 it trumps the loss of Mario.
