that would be unhealthy for David Carr's already brittle psyche. he needs to be looking down the field at his receivers, not over his shoulder at Vince Young or at the pass rush.

With hindsight, even the Chargers wouldn't do that again. If you want to look for reasons for the Chargers turnaround look to (1) TE Antonio Gates, (2) D scheme change with Wade Phillips' arrival and (3) Hudson Houck's work on the OL. Now let's hope the Texans draft a TD, get the aggressive D Kubiack says he wants and Alex Gibbs comes to work on the OL. Then maybe they will pull a SD.

I don't see that happening because DD is good but is not LT.

Kubiak and McNair keep talking about the need to give Carr more weapons and better protection and better coaching etc, and by not picking Bush or a top Olinemen, and taking someone that doesn't get to be on the field, it can be argued that you are setting him up for failure again.

Even if it is a good idea because of the potential of VY, I just don't see them having the stomach to do that.

I just hope Kubiak will bring someone to compete with our Carr! Don't forget we have other PICKS too and who said it needs to be VY? FA can help us if we need other quality players as well.
