Who will trade for the #13 pick?

My best SWAG would be GB. Even though that would mean trading down to #24, the Texans might be able to get on of GBs 2nd rd picks (# 51 or 58), plus a pick next year (2nd or 3rd).

GB seems like the likely suitor because they have serious D needs, none more than SS (Thomas Davis) or DL (Merriman, Spears or James).

What would ya'll think about that? What would you seek/need if GB wanted the #13 pick (consider picks only).

I'd say the #24 (1st), #51(2nd) or #58(2nd), and a pick next year depending (1st or 2nd).

I think that Green Bay has so many holes to fill that they will just take BPA with all the picks they have. They probably wont give anything up because they need players badly.

I think seattle, KC, Cincinatti, I even think maybe an Atlanta, Philadelphia, and yes even Oakland now that they have picks to trade back up. I have discussed the Rams tradeing up if there are no trades then i doubt it. I am sure Tennessee will trade down from 6.. i believe that pick will be New Oreleans that they will be trading with. I think Tenneessee will take an OL if Barron or Brown is there at 16. This might scare the Rams into trading up.

But what would the Texans expect if they trade from #13 to #26? Anything out of the top 15 might as well be considered a 2nd round pick.

I don't think we would get as much as you say from GB, but I like the overall idea. Settle in between 21 and 30, and look for guys like Roddy White, Matt Jones, Khaliff Barnes, Mark Clayton, Reggie Brown, Matt Roth, Daryl Blackstock, Shaun Cody....the list goes on. I have no problems whatsoever in trading down, but let's be realistic about what others will give up. If we can garner a #2 this year, than that's more than good enough for me to drop down, unless a game changer is available at #13.

we would be selecting the best reciever availble or the best d-lineman available at that point in time...maybe just maybe the safty pool from oklahoma to groom behind coleman...who is older than glenn

I say trade down with Philly and get #31, #35 and their 3rd rounder for #13 and our 4th or 5th rounder...I realize the "value chart" says 31 + 35 = 13, but teams that trade up usually pay a little more and Philly has picks to throw around...

I really think either KC, New Orleans, or Cincinatti will try and trade up for Thomas Davis. Maybe with us.

I think of the 31 other teams.. everyone of them will be willing to trade to the 13th.

It just depends on who is available there and how good an deal we are offering.

in other words.. impossible to tell.

We get the Browns #3 for our #13. Heck, I'll even throw in Bradford. Sounds good to me. :thumbup

But in all seriousness, I would have to say someone arouind the 20 pick.

I would think Philly could possibly want to trade up. They lost Derrick Burgess, Jermane Mayberry, and Ike Reese to free agency. I would take Philly's 31st pick and 35th pick or 31st pick, 63rd pick, and maybe a later round pick for our 13th pick. Thoughts? :hmmm:

yes but i think they will 1st go after Cleveland's pick and try to get Mike Williams.
I do however think they will be outbidded by Minnesota who throws both 1st rounders for Williams.

Then Williamson would have to pass Washington to get to us.
I am not sure if the Eagles are targeting Clayton. Would make sense huh
I just feel this is an iffy trade. I think certain players have to fall and i think it all depends on the trades infront of us.
