Who Do You HOPE For????

Of the choices listed, who would you hope to be picked at 13 by the Texans.

Today, I think that Benson should be the pick, but it's a fleeting feeling...I'll probably want DJ tomorrow, Ware the day after that, Williamson the day after that, and Antrel the day after that...Come Saturday, I'm not sure who I'll want the most...

today is the first day i had the feeling we should hope for pac-man. until now i wanted rodgers/rolle for 'next level' potential reasons (size mainly) or a nasty ILB (really like the idea of davis being converted, the wood laying ability and speed makes me go :woot ). but after hearing pac-man on the radio, i noticed he reminded me of one of our newest and most beloved texans...the one and only d-rob! they seem like birds of a feather, both are slightly undersized, both can lay the wood and both play with a confidence that throws finding their ceiling out the window. i also like the possibility of him freeing up the return man spot, as much i love JJ...but like D-ReK pointed out, another day, another draft choice ...

If we trade up - DJ. If we stay at 13 - Ware or Rogers. If we trade down - Davis or Miller.

I would take Rogers or Rolle if either was there. I mean we could move the AGING but still talented glenn to nickel and have the best young tandem of CB's in the NFL.

I'd also like to see Davis or Johnson but davis only in a trade down to pick up a extra 2nd.

Any of them would help. To me, it would come down to Benson or DJ. Those two are very close imo, with the slightest of edges to DJ. I think Ware, Merriman, Pacman, Rodgers, et al, would make a great consolation prize though!

If it came down to Benson or D.J. I say grab D.J at this point he is more of an upgrade than Beson is although I do like Benson and would have no problem if we got him.

Actully I want Thomas Davis, but of this list I want Ware. I would not cry over DJ but he aint physical enough for my liking.

Benson imo is definitely not a Edge type player aside from the dreads. He doesn't have any where near the receiving skills that edge has nor speed.

I like benson however i'd compare him to ricky williams w/o the smoking problem.

I like to set my sights high too but try to be realistic at the same time. therefore the most easily addressed need with a single player is a OLB who can pass rush. that would be Merriman but being the realist I am I really hope that Demarcus Ware is there at #13 just waiting to become a Texan and infuse the pass rush so desperately needed.

Not on your list who if the above players are already taken would fall in ascending order is Marcus Spears DT in a 3-4 that would solidfy a nice rotation and possibly move into the starting line-up moving Smith to NT giving Payne more time to recover and regain his strength. the other player I would'nt be too upset about is David Pollack, along with Babin they would also make a nice wrecking crew.

the rest of your list is highly questionable that any of them would still be there, so y'all don't get your hopes too high or your hearts may be broken

You do know about his marijuana possession charge he got, right? I know it was later dropped, but some teams may consider that a red flag...
