who can we cut...

astrofan

Waterboy
to have an open roster spot for Wes Welker?

my first choice is brown, but maybe Earl will need a mentor

second: jj

maybe Polk; I am sure that AZ would pick him up

Wes would solidify the receiving and special teams corps (both coverage and return squads)

If the crygirls grab him, this could be our curse

hopefully he can wear 27 in battle red, liberty white and deep steel blue

Isn't Wes Welker still with the Chargers?
Welker was cut yesterday.
Welker waived

The Chargers' feel-good story out of training camp has moved on. The team cut return specialist Wes Welker on Wednesday and signed free-agent safety Clinton Hart to take his roster spot.

Welker, an undrafted rookie out of Texas Tech, didn't figure to make the squad. But his impressive summer showing changed the Chargers plans ---- for one week, anyway.

Welker field four kickoffs Sunday and averaged 25.5 yards with a long of 33. But it wasn't enough to save his job.
Another "Cut JJ" thread? I give up. idonno:

i am not doubting jj, but someone's gotta go

did you watch any preseason (praise directv's name)

nobody could stop Wes in HS, but he was too small for big XII

nobody could stop Wes in big XII, but he was too small for the NFL

nobody could stop Wes in the NFL, but he was too small for...

I like jj just like I liked dotel, but pro sports and roster limitations call for some tough choices

What is this?? JJ proves himself, a thread is started about how everyone is wrong...and now we want to cut JJ or anyone for Welker?

No way.

this is about putting the best 53 on the field
I think this is really about jocking your favorite player.

I think Welker needs to brush up on his Canadian, eh?

Your first choice is Brown so that a guy not completely recovered from knee surgery (backed up by a guy not completely recovered from knee surgery by the way) and not totally familiar with the D can start--yaaah sure.

Or JJ--who does both KR and PR as opposed to just KR and does KR better--once again yaah sure.

Polk--really, the rook is better than a proven special teams player?

Might be a great pick-up on potential if teams had an open number of roster spots--not happening as it is.
