Me too; probably doesn’t have the energy to micromanage them if he wanted toThat #3 in the Robinson tweet sounds wonderful.

That's Greg Roman's offense in Baltimore..How close is an Asst. Head Coach to a Coordinator? He has been Asst. Head Coach for 3 or 4 years and interviewed in 2014 when BOB was hired. This guy has plenty of experience and could put an offense in like Baltimore ran. Let's give him a chance before we bash him too bad.
Culley checks a lot of the usual Texans corporate boxes here
What's the remedy for dying laughing?Someone should probably publish the telephone number for the suicide hotline.
I'm thinking Kelly as HC.I was going to say once Culley is fired. But yeah, this a setup for McCown to become HC in a couple of years.
I hope I’m wrong. I hope that a 65 year old journeyman LIFELONG POSITION COACH with ZERO NFL play calling experience, ZERO NFL offensive coordinator experience and ZERO NFL experience as the Head Coach will be better than any of the other candidates. Stop being so soft, we’re disagreeing about a coaching hire not dividing Palestine and Israel.Lol, who in the hell knows if EB is going to be a “good HC” and Culley won’t be? And making pronouncements on what kind of job Culley will do before he’s even coached 1 damn practice...lol, some of you guys are ridiculous....and I see it’s about time for me to take another hiatus from this board..
We don’t give up anything. The NFL awards Baltimore the picks like printing money. What bothers me the most is that we have to give away 2 third round draft picks for an unproven HC, making it a little harder for him too. Why do we always give away draft picks?
Result is the same.We don’t give up anything. The NFL awards Baltimore the picks like printing money.
Springer and Watson hurts.Losing Harden, Springer, and Watson in the same year
I think he wants EB for Texans as that puts a black in HC position and something for DW to be proud of. He then pursues a trade to New York Jets for what Deshaun wants. But Watson wants EB......![]()
let's see how much he is getting per season. He might coach through 2022 and then be replaced.Don’t know anything about him but his age. The Bucs hired Arians at 68 but were only a few pieces away.
The Texans are a lot further away. Do you really want to rebuild a franchise with a 65 year old head coach? Asking for a friend.
No, the result is that we don't lose any 3rd round picks. The league awards them as compensatory picks meaning they don't come from us.Result is the same.
Imo you're jumping the gun buddy. Job 1 is to get Watson back in the fold. He's already "said" who we hire doesn't matter. What could have been...the ******* incompetence of this team.
But Culley, why the hell not EB? Or Eferblus or whatever his name is.Imo you're jumping the gun buddy. Job 1 is to get Watson back in the fold. He's already "said" who we hire doesn't matter.
The Texans did what they did & now it's time to see if 4 responds favorably.
If he's out, you're correct. 100% correct. But if comes home, they did something right.

Good luck with thatI’m going to try to sell my PSLs. The Texans have broken their contract with me as a fan. Rather stay at home and watch Sunday Ticket. I enjoy watching the rest of the league and not this abortion of a franchise.
Yeah, I'm thinking they'd be better coaches as well. And fit in perfect with our culture.Ravens were ranked dead last in passing last season and the Texans hire their "Passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach."!
Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
No ....! Caserio needs to be fired!Ravens were ranked dead last in passing last season and the Texans hire their "Passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach."!
Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
@disaacks3 why did you like this? This is a gross display of ignorance. Where you being sarcastic? What bothers me the most is that we have to give away 2 third round draft picks for an unproven HC, making it a little harder for him too. Why do we always give away draft picks?
Remember when the Titans hired that Vrabel guy after his defense finished in the bottom quartile of every defensive category?Ravens were ranked dead last in passing last season and the Texans hire their "Passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach."!
Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
Caserio didn't hire CulleyCaserio ought to be fired. I was his BIGGEST supporter coming here, but to hire Colley over EB if it's true, no ******* way! I'm done with this team.
Don’t exactly get all the options on Tapatalk. I need laugh and cry options.@disaacks3 why did you like this? This is a gross display of ignorance. Where you being sarcastic?
please remind me how old Reid and Harbaugh were when they were hired as head coaches.Andy Reid was a “lifelong position coach” and was never an OC....he in fact was actually a position coach longer than Culley has been before he got his 1st HC gig with the Eagles.same for Harbaugh.
John Harbaugh was a ST coach & never called plays in an NFL game (even though he’s a former qb) before he got the Ravens gig.
Also Neither of those guys had been HC’s before.
These are 2 of the better HC’s in the game bro. Me thinks you’re the only one being soft b/c your guy wasn’t picked.
Who in the .... is cuck?Caserio didn't hire Culley
Cuck did
Yeah....none of y’all were thinking anything was wrong with the Ravens passing game in 2019 when LJ8 threw for 36 TD’s and was the mvp. now that we hired the architect of that passing game and the Ravens took a little step back last year, it’s a problem...funny how that works.Ravens were ranked dead last in passing last season and the Texans hire their "Passing game coordinator and wide receivers coach."!
Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
I don't know what to think about him either.Never been a HC at any level.
Only real coordinator job was at UTEP.
Last job was passing coordinator for a team that had the 26th ranked passing attack.
Gets to start his first HC job during a massive rebuild at 65.
So was Tomlin. Difference was, they were up-and-comers. Not 65.I don't know what to think about him either.
But to clarify, he was assistant HC in Baltimore & before the Bills gig he was assistant HC in Kansas City.
Speaking of which, wasn't Harbaugh a STs coach?
Sums it up perfectly.Culley checks a lot of the usual Texans corporate boxes here
Watson has had positive experience with him. (if even matters)
Cal (Christian)
Easterby (not power hungry)
Nick c. (solid respected football guy)
NFL (minority hire)
Texans fans (underwhelming and easy criticize)
Yes they gain picks but You said we gave something away to Baltimore but we gave away nothing as far as picks go. Now giving up hope of success After hiring Culley, well that’s another story.Result is the same.
Took a LITTLE STEP back, really?Yeah....none of y’all were thinking anything was wrong with the Ravens passing game in 2019 when LJ8 threw for 36 TD’s and was the mvp. now that we hired the architect of that passing game and the Ravens took a little step back last year, it’s a problem...funny how that works.
Who gives a rats ass how old he is? Carroll was 60 when he got the Seahawks gig and still shows more energy and enthusiasm on the sidelines than fat ass Andy Reid has ever shown. Kubiak was younger than him but was on the sidelines having a coronary on national TV. If the dude can coach and get it done, who the hell cares if he’s older than the average HC.please remind me how old Reid and Harbaugh were when they were hired as head coaches.
Culley has been a member of AARP almost as long as they’ve been head coaches.
Bro.
The Texans aren't giving away picks those are comp picks at the end of the 3rd rd.What bothers me the most is that we have to give away 2 third round draft picks for an unproven HC, making it a little harder for him too. Why do we always give away draft picks?
