Welcome to the board.I would like to know why my posts keep getting deleted for being "political" when it had nothing to do with politics??? WTF
You rave about Brock Purdy S2, but what about Trey Lance and Bearhard?
I'm pretty sure he's also the 1st & only QB in NFL history who's first NFL pass was also his first NFL reception.I don't know if it's been mentioned but FWIW, apparently C.J. Stroud is the first rookie QB in NFL history to make a Week 1 start with over 45 dropbacks without throwing a single interception.
Nope "Brett Favre's first NFL completion was to himself. On Sept. 13, 1992 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Favre's pass deflected off a defender's helmet and landed right back in his hands. Favre lost seven yards on the play."I'm pretty sure he's also the 1st & only QB in NFL history who's first NFL pass was also his first NFL reception.

Who are these QBs with low S2 scores that had done poorly in the NFL?I dont rave about much of anything?
I just point out that no QB that's done poorly on the S-2 has been successful in the NFL. I guess some including you seem to struggle with this fact.
Hey, maybe Stroud breaks the trend. Doubtful, now that he's dealing with a hurt shoulder. Hannah is going to get what she deserves. Patience should've been the order of the day. But when has that ever been the Texan Way.
It was a perfect analogy between agendas; one being the one u mention and people pushing s2 testing. And I love how they are still considered "conspiracies" although all the facts have come out...that makes them FACTS not conspiracies.I didn't delete it but I read it after another mod deleted it. If the mod who deleted it didn't, I probably would have.
Covid conspiracies / Fauci / Agenda's are more politics than is allowed.

love how you interject on a subject u didnt get to read before it was deleted...Bullshit. The only "facts" we got is our highly drafted rookie QB is injured.
And so does the Colts . And if the Panthers aren’t careful, Young might get injured as well. That’s the game, it happens. Facts!Bullshit. The only "facts" we got is our highly drafted rookie QB is injured.

No one is pushing the agenda of the S2 testing beyond it being another tool in the shed when evaluating players pre draft.
Some continue to make more of it than it really is because they don't like the reported results.
As for Stroud - we're stuck with him as Texans fans - I hope he breaks the test.
I abandoned the idea that high intelligence is required in a QB to win a championship after Ben Roethlisberger won two of them.

Can't say that I'm thrilled about this especially with the OL to be filled almost completely with backups.
Put Stroud in there and let him learn if he's remotely healthy. Can't say that I'm thrilled about this especially with the OL to be filled almost completely with backups.
The thing is we don't even see the data.No one is pushing the agenda of the S2 testing beyond it being another tool in the shed when evaluating players pre draft.

on top of ALL THAT....the owners themselves have come out and have said that the leaked score for Stroud "was not accurate at all...not even close"...The thing is we don't even see the data.
Where's it?
You want to discuss a test, but so many info are missing.
Somebody said 7 years of data, but I don't see hardly anything.
Many teams using the S2 are not successful with their QB decision.
The US Women Soccer Team used the S2 test (one of the S2 guys even talked this fact up), and the team had the biggest flop for a long time in the recent World Cup.
They look bad while they were supposed to be the team to beat.
Who are the NFL QBs that had low S2 scores?
They did not say that at allon top of ALL THAT....the owners themselves have come out and have said that the leaked score for Stroud "was not accurate at all...not even close"...
so theres that too...
They did not say that at all
Perhaps you missed this parthttps://www.si.com/nfl/panthers/news/s2-co-founder-says-two-scores-that-were-leaked-are-not-accurate
Wrong again...but keep pushing ur agenda and riding 'ol boys coat tails.
And I don't know what you are meaning about riding 'ol boys coat tails. I've never said that Mills should be starting or that I want him to start. I'm just debunking your falsehoodsI'm not saying that it was C.J. Stroud.
where does he say that the leaked score for Stroud is accurate...I'll go ahead and wait...but wont hold my breath.Perhaps you missed this part

Thankfully the Jags don't have a good line themselves and the Colts didn't really put up much pressure on them. Can't say that I'm thrilled about this especially with the OL to be filled almost completely with backups.

Where does he specify that Stroud's score was inaccurate?where does he say that the leaked score for Stroud is accurate...I'll go ahead and wait...but wont hold my breath.
ALL YOU HAD TO SAY WAS I CANT.Where does he specify that Stroud's score was inaccurate?
I'm not disputing that they said leaked scores were inaccurate, but nowhere did the specify that Stroud's were. And that is what I said that you are disputing, or have you already forgotten what you said? Have you graduated high school yet?ALL YOU HAD TO SAY WAS I CANT.
Them coming out and saying that leaked scores were accurate is enough to discredit the scores.
but I love you how try and answer a ? with a ? b/c you have no answer for it.
Then why started something?No, I really don't.
Then why started something?

Even the ones who play every game are almost always just playing with some kind of injury.
Tua went #1 overall but had serious injury concerns coming out. Dude was an MVP candidate for a large part of the season last year.
this is the correct answer. Why some people act like we’re the only team that has drafted a player with an “injury history” is beyond me. The term is a bit of an oxymoron to begin with considering the sport they play. Of course they’re gonna have some type of injury history. play football!
Tua went #1 overall but had serious injury concerns coming out. Dude was an MVP candidate for a large part of the season last year.
Bryce Young. Everybody forget about his shoulder issues in his last year at Bama?
Deshaun with his ACL at Clemson.
come on folks.
Because fans are by and large incredibly myopic when it comes to how they fan. They don't watch other teams nearly under the same microscope they do their own.
Fans of all teams, particularly struggling teams, have the same common concerns/complaints - our HC sucks, our GM sucks, why can't we find a franchise QB, why do we draft injured players, why can't we sign big time free agents, who signed off on those goddamn jalapeno popper commercials, etc, etc..
I don’t know what to think of this. A soft search of his Ohio State injury was that it affected his first three games In 2021. In those games he completed over 60% of his passes for almost 1000 yards. I didn’t read that he missed any time, but again, soft search. OTOH he had roughly twice as many pass attempts game one as he had in three preseason games. Many were thrown across his body trying to escape the rush, not to mention taking several hits and a roughing the passer penalty. So my verdict is on hold. BTW, same soft search, I’ve read that there was surprise that nobody had mentioned A. Richardson’s injury history before the draft. Supposedly he had significant injuries every college year. And don’t forget Young’s shoulder injury. None of these three teams made a mistake IMO, they are just playing under the rules of a rough sport. Can't say that I'm thrilled about this especially with the OL to be filled almost completely with backups.
Stroud's a rookie QB, he's going to be learning for years. Plus "remotely healthy" is subjective, however, I know you've seen CNNNd's take on this (Click Here) and don't you hold his expertise in high regard?Put Stroud in there and let him learn if he's remotely healthy.
Bingo and we’ll said. They do that stuff to start up controversy. That’s exactly what they did on this forum.Duck the Wonderlic and S2!!! How many so-so CFB QB’s nailed the test(s) and became superstars in the NFL b/c of their smarts?
Scouts need to park their arses in front of TV and study every game these QB’s played in to determine if the talent around them made them something they weren’t or the talent around them held them back from becoming the QB they could become. Personal workouts would try and confirm what’s been seen in person and on film. (Funny, as I’m typing this….Kurt Warner was discussing how QB’s should be graded, and damm if it wasn’t fairly similar).
I don't know the circumstances around Indy or Carolina. However I do know that our OL is once again in shambles (hopefully for the short term) and charged with protecting our own highly drafted rookie QB who has an issue with his shoulder on his throwing arm. Stroud's OSU injury was known but not highlighted as much as Young's issues but here we are. Injuries are part of the game and most of the time uncontrollable, but how a team manages injuries is controllable.I don’t know what to think of this. If the young man is truly hurt I don’t see why you risk additional damage considering our line is suspect at best.I don't know the circumstances around Indy or Carolina. Based solely on how conservatively the Texans are treating other injuries, I lean toward the opinion that Stroud's injury is something he can play through with little further risk. I've heard comment on the pregame that this is the same issue he played through in college. But CnnnD thinks otherwise. The game starts in 5 minutes and we are about to find out.If the young man is truly hurt I don’t see why you risk additional damage considering our line is suspect at best.
I want to see our new toy as much as anybody but not to his detriment.
Could this be trickery?
