Look, if the boy's hold on to the ball today there is no reason why they cannot win...The D last week was quite good so hopefully the Offence can aim up today which I think they can.
 
The Texans are a professional football team. I am sure that they are extremely focused on the task today. I wish them luck. I will not be watching the game today as I will be helping my brother with an outdrive on his boat. I will be pleased to see a winning score when I return home.

He keeps getting blocked cause the D-line isnt drawing double teams. OLBs in a 3-4 are suppose to be on RBs and FBs, not the LTs and RTs. Walker, Smith and Payne need to draw double teams so Babin is free to roam.
 
Decent run defense at times, and then the next play... horrible run D. But they were stopping them a bit and I saw the QB being rushed more.. looking good for improvements so far.

Plus it really doesnt count as a blitz if Fangio only sends 4 rushers. Why is he so scared ot blitz, On 3rd and 8 he should have brought 5 or 6
 
On the play where Fancia blocked him, he was standing still watching the play deveolp and not reacting. Fancia pulled, pushed him out the way and there goes Parker for 15. Cant be standing there flat footed getting blocked, fight off the block

It's called making sure you have containment. There is a reason Foreman and Sharper had so many tackles. The OLBs would force the runners up the middle so the ILBs make the tackles.

He had containment on the outside, his job as OLB was to force the play back to the inside, he did his job, but the ILBs were no where to be found.
 
I think Carr's performance in this first series will determine whether I make it to half time or not. I think the D stepped up there at the end and stopped what could have been a disaster of a start!

No, its called getting run at and blocked. Fight off the block. The run went right past him, not up the middle.

we finally have the o-line hold up on a play and carr hands it right to him. Now td steelers. First pick in 2006 NFL draft the texans fans misery continues while they pass up Leinart and Young and draft Mcneil.
