Gotta feel sad for the poor Broncos fans... that Wilson contract gonna doom that franchise for the rest of the decade

Based on the way he played with an injured Henry and the resurgence after his dad passed, I thought he would a great ,cheap target. Plus he's a texas city kid/houston area. Instead, they decided to bring back a busted up Burkhead. I know him and his family and he's turned the corner after his dad passed when he was ejected out of his rig. I mean, c'mon, why would you bring anyone back from a terrible run game from the year before?
 
#98 for TB (Anthony Nelson?) was about as dirty as any player I've seen on that run by McSorley

I honestly don't think he'd get anywhere close to 4.6 ypc on this team. Our RBs are fighting & breaking tackles just to not get negative yards.

When a guy like Freeman or Ogunbowale can consistently get through the LOS untouched then I'd be OK dreaming about a 4.6 ypc guy getting 4.6 ypc in Houston.

Derrick Henry would be JAG on this team

Isnt Pierce pretty much 4.5 ish per carry? I'm stating that aa good as Pierce has been, the dropoff between he and Burkhead/ Dare has been huge. If Pierce and Foreman were the tandem, there would be no dropoff because both break tackles whereas Burkhead has no wiggle and isn't breaking tackles. Look, there are always going to be unblocked tacklers in the nfl, but when you have guys coming free, that wiggle and power counts. The only thing stopping them is the drop from 1 to 2 imo.

I don’t think there’s much similarity. In fact I think Pierce is quite rare in that he is quick to power. Most guys aren’t. Even guys like Foreman & Henry if you get to them early they’ll go down. Once they’ve built up steam they’re hard to bring down

Pierce has the ability to run through blocks early & then shift gears.
