MMQB
Just wanna see what others think. I will give you the player, opponent and their projected points for this week. The highlighted players are the current starter.
QB:
Matt Schaub vs. SEA: 22
Philip Rivers @ DAL: 20
Both are great options this week. Matt has been banged up this last week or 2, but is at home vs a mediocre team. Rivers will be on the road vs. a team trying to make the playoffs.
WR:
Randy Moss vs. CAR: 9
Terrell Owens @ KC: 6
Greg Jennings @ Chi: 7
Nate Washington vs. STL: 5
Randy Moss is a no brainer. I like the idea of Owens vs the KC secondary that gave up 250 to Miles Austin earlier this year. Greg Jennings is tempting, but he is just as streeky as Owens. I have no intention of starting Nate Washington.
RB:
DeAngelo Williams @ NE: 11
LeSean McCoy @ NYG: 7
Darren Sproles @ DAL: 7
Jason Snelling vs NO: 6
Derrick Ward vs NYJ: 5
DeAngelo makes me nervous after missing last week and going against a D that can play well in NE. But he is a must start in my book. McCoy had a down game last week, and I need him to bounce back against the Giants in a divisional matchup. I am using my Flex on Sproles who played well last week against a crappy team in CLE, but hope that he gets some touches in the passing game. Snelling and Ward dont sound very promising.
TE:
Brent Celek @ NYG: 8
Kellen Winslow vs NYJ: 5
Brent has been money 95% of the time this year. No reason to back off now.
K:
Lawrence Tynes vs PHI: 9
Only kicker I have on the roster. But he is a good one.
DEF:
TAMPA BAY vs NYJ: 10
NEW ENGLAND vs CAR: 10
MIAMI @ JAC: 9
Toss up between TB and NE. Jets have a rookie QB. CAR throws a ton of picks. Jacksonville might play well because they are battling for a playoff spot and are at home.
Thanks for any input.
