What the HELL. DJ is on the f'in board and you trade down. HE BETTER BE THERE at 16 or there will be hell to pay. If we don't make the playoffs next year heads need to roll. Our drafts have been VERY MEDIOCRE. We have completely struck out on 2nd and 3rd round picks where other teams got solid starters.
 
Lot of teams so far are passing on DJ ...why? He is projected as a 4-3 LB and not really a 3-4 linebacker..

I am rooting for us to get DJ, but it isn't the end of the world..
 
calm the F down...it's not the end of the world...we were never committed to DJ...he doesn't fit our system...and we want Peek to start...drafting a LB in the first round wouldn't allow that to happen

I am telling ya, DJ is not our man. We have no where to put him and he is over rated. Probably will not even make it in the Pro's. I see us getting Clayton, WR with out pick..
 
he is the fastest strongest LB in the draft. You're right why would we want a FAST LB in a 3-4 system. Lets draft a 270LB with 4.8 speed that would be perfect for our system. We line up our LBs and hope they run right at them not around them.

DJ is a physical freak. Saying he doesn't fit our system is like saying Michael Jordan doesn't fit our system, lets pass on him.
 
I would like DJ, but won't be upset if we don't get him. I'm a little P.O.'d we didn't get more in the trade. At least we could have gotten the 3 in '06, plus a 4 or 5 this year. Oh well it's not the end of the world, I can't wait to see who we get.
 
you know what **** the 3-4. DJ is a friggin playmaker. He forced close to 10 fumbles last year. I hadn't seen a guy do that since Lawrence Tayor. Our Defense has blown and I am sick to taking guys higher than they are worth because they fit our system. Screw our system and get playmakers on the field. It was a crime that Antwan Peek who is one of the few players outside of Dunta who can make a play on D, barely saw the field last year.

DJ is going to make a team VERY HAPPY and he is going to have a long pro bowl filled career. If we don't get DJ and he is available Casserley and the rest of the *****s on our football operations will be dead to me. BRING ON BILL POLIAN.
