It is clear from the press conferences that these are the guys Kubiak wanted. Casserly went out and got them, but Kubiak, McNair, and Casserly were in agreement on these players.
We each might want to pick here and there, but in reality we will have to wait and see what will happen. I have had very high expectations for this season and those expectations remain in place. Kubiak talks about all of these young men with a great deal of enthusiasm. How could you not believe they were not his picks?
We have our number 1 pick signed and he is ready to go to work. We don't have to worry about leverage or anything. How many other teams right now can say they have there top pick in place and ready to go.
It is obvious that these gentlemen have been picked for their ability to play football and their character. Kubiak and McNair our on the same track. Be proud of what we have. This coming season is going to be special.
P.S. I think we are going to see a big mess with respect to Bush. It is not going to be pleasant. One of the amazing friendships that apparently has developed during the draft was between Young and Linert. Bush was nowhere to be seen and I found that kind of interesting. They speak well of each other and that speaks volumes about them as individuals. They are team guys. Good luck to both of them.
