Walker and Payne's Health

I can't seem to remember the last post explaining the expectations of Walker and Payne's health going into training camp. Can someone bring me up to date on the status of our DL.

with the arrival of TJ, i think Gary Walker will be released at the end of the season. He gets a big paycheck that he doesn't deserve. As for Seth Payne, i think he is still injured.

have any data to support this claim? This will be Payne's second year removed from ACL surgery, which has historically been when a player returns to their former level of production, all other things being equal. Payne made it through all of last year without any significant time lost or even much mention of his knees. He didn't perform spectacularly, but I'm not sure anyone should have expected that of him.

You really have to look not only at the salaries of players, but the salary cap ramifications when deciding to cut players. For the 2005 and 2006 seasons Walker is significantly more expensive to cut than he is to keep. This is because his signing bonus is pro-rated over the full term of his contract. Cut him during that term and the entire remaining pro-rated amount hits the cap this year.

As for Payne, there has been zero information that he is not recovering well from the exact same injury Gary Walker had during the off-season right before he went to the pro-bowl.

Gary will be fine.

You guys will be shocked to see the size of G-Funk in training camp. He's coming ready to play. And he know's he has pressure with new blood willing to take his spot.

if you could, can anybody post a picture of g-funk's new look cuz i havent seen him and people are saying stuff about him like if he is g-hulk. If somebody can do it i'll really appreciate it.
