Wait List data

Interestingly, it appears that fewer people give up their (non PSL) season tickets each year.
My wait list positions have been as follows:
2015 20,382
2016 13,903
2017 10,935
2018 9202

So the list movement has been:
2015/6 6479 spots
2016/7 2968 spots
2017/8 1733 spots

I guess fans are getting more loyal, but at this rate I may never reach the top of the list.

Interesting to see the numbers, but your problem may be bigger than you think. Probably a lot of the movement up is the result of people ahead of you dropping off the wait list, not because people gave up their tickets.

That would explain the big move up the first year. I have seen "Gridiron Texas population 26000" promos - I assume that is close to the number of non-PSL seats. Since very few people would get only one seat, half the non-PSL seats would have to be given up to move up 6479 spots.

More likely a lot of people who had only been on the wait list a year or two gave up. Now only diehards like yourself are still ahead of you. Good luck!

I know someone who gave up after two years. I need to check to see what PSLs are selling (resale) for now which I doubt if those in my section are anywhere near the $700/ea that I paid.
