Wade Phillips for DC?

Phillips, of course has been mentioned again as a head coaching candidate, but what if he doesn't get one? It seems likely that Dan Reeves might mention Wade for DC, given their long association together. And although this would be a lateral move for Wade, he still might seriously consider it since he is from Orange, graduated from U of H, and worked here for the Oilers. Add to that the fact that his aging father Bum is still in Texas and I think he might take it, if offered.

I doubt it. Like you said, first of all it's lateral and secondly, who would you want to coach: the Chargers or the Texans???

Personally? The Texans. After all, they're in Texas. San Diego is in one of those lesser states. LOL

Phillips would be a good choice, but I would prefere Jerry Gray.

It might provide an initial burst, but would level out soon enough. Kubiak would be great for this team. If only Young had waited one more year...but alas, I am torn again.
