Versus

powda

The bridge between stupid and useless is short.
Teams are built through the draft as well as free agency. What we do begining tomorrow effects our draft. Consider a players age, cap implications, injury history, and filling needs to free up draft picks. You play GM and you decide on free agent vs draft pick.

#1. Paxton Lynch in the first round or Brock Osweiler?

#2 Lamar Miller vs Alex Collins in the 2nd round?

I lean toward Miller because of his upside. I think Collins will be a solid but not special back. Miller could be a flop but he could also be a home run.

#1 My vote is Lynch purely from a money/value standpoint. Both are unknown commodities for us but Osweiler will be 5-6 times more expensive. Half a season of experience on another team with different teammates, coaches, etc... isn't enough to justify the money Osweiler will cost.

#2 Collins, Dixon, Booker, or Howard. Again it's a money/value issue. RB is the easiest position to transition from college to the NFL. Nothing against Miller, I really like him and think he'll be good for someone.

I'm going with Collins round two to alternate with Miller. 35-45 combined carries per game.
