USA ranks NFL defensive lineman

Hall of Fame
" Freeney has been playing on the fast track of the RCA Dome, so it will be intriguing to see if there is any effect now that the playing surface has been changed to FieldTurf. "

Maybe the FieldTurf will slow that succer down a little bit - OL guys trying
to handle him up in Indy will I'm sure take all the help they can get - just ask
Jonathon Ogden.
Anyway, this article ranks Freeney and Carolina's Peppers as the 2 best DEs
in the NFL - tough to argue with that. They also rank the tackles - maybe TJ
will appear towards the top of that list in a couple years ?

Detroit's Shaun Rogers has to stay healthy to continue his ascent. But that's not a given. It was an injury that originally led to him falling to the second round.

Lol.... What?

He hasn't missed a game since 2002, and has played in 60 of 64 games.

When was this ranking made? 2001?

And if Kevin Williams is better than Shaun Rogers, I guess Run Stopping and pursuit are no longer traits required of a good DT.

I agree that Williams shouldnt be at the top of the list.
