In talking with badboy and beerlover, I have finally understood the need for a fast, agile, quick guy on offense and special teams. Someone who makes the D tremble in fear of the speed. A Reggie Bush type player if you will. I believe that LSU's Trindon Holliday is that guy.
At 5'5" 161 lbs (per the LSU website) he is too small to be an every down player like Chris Johnson or CJ Spiller. However, the Texans would not need him to be. If the Texans do like I think/hope they do, they will not have need to draft a back with speed galore to be a primary guy. I believe the Texans will draft/sign a power back, and have Slaton go back to his previous weight and speed. Then we have a true 1-2 combo, Thunder and Lightening style. Also, beerlover brought to my attention our problem at receiver. We lack a true number 2 if Walter cannot revert back to form. JJ is still a project. By having Holliday take return duties, JJ can focus on becoming an all around receiver.
Why Holliday? Because the kid can play, I dont care about his size. Watch the highlight vids at the bottom of the post, this is not a track guy playing football. He is tougher than one would expect, and his lateral agility is stunning for a sprinter.

The Texans would use him in much the same way LSU did. One or two rushes a game, a catch here and there, and as the primary return man.
