Saw it on ESPN. Took a natsy hit a landed right on his shoulder. Had to be helped off the field. No news on extent of injury, but it looked painful...

McGahee then scored a TD on a short run...

It says in this article that they x-rayed his ribs but Wingo said he hurt his shoulder. X-Rays were negative....

Wonder if McGahee had anything to do with it? Only kidding.

I think he was hit just under his arm. That may be why they were concerned with his ribs. Either way he looked to be in a lot of pain.

Bills RB Henry knocked out of preseason game

August 21, 2004

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) -- Buffalo Bills running back Travis Henry left Saturday night's preseason game against Tennessee with an injury to his left side.

Henry was hurt 10 minutes into second quarter as he was preparing to catch a pass, taking a hard hit and getting knocked over by Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck. In breaking up the play at Titans' 20, Bulluck hit Henry high under his left arm, sending him tumbling to the field.

Henry lay on the field for a few minutes before being helped up by a Bills trainer. Henry slowly walked off the field and was escorted to a cart on the sideline and was then driven to the locker room.

The Bills said X-rays on Henry's ribs were negative.Henry was having a strong game, with seven carries for 27 yards and a 3-yard reception.Backup Willis McGahee took over.

The injury comes at a time when there is plenty of attention on the Bills' running backs. The Associated Press, citing a source close to McGahee, reported Friday that the player has asked to be traded if he is not the starter on opening day.Bills president Tom Donahoe denied the report in an impromptu news conference in the press box just before game time.

Henry is a three-year starter for the Bills. He is coming off his second straight season of 1,300 yards rushing. McGahee, selected 23rd overall in the 2003 draft, is enjoying a strong training camp after missing all of last season recovering from reconstructive surgery on his left knee.

Bledsoe has said that he takes a lot of the responsibility for putting Henry in an awkward position after being flushed out of the pocket... said he probably should have got the ball to him a little sooner or kept the ball and run it himself. He did kinda hang him out to dry. It was definitely a loud "pop". I'm sure Henry won't forget anytime soon who Keith Bulluck is.

Sounds very similar to what happened when Ragone hung Hollings out to dry.
