training camp time!!

so now its officially my return now.......i am happy to be back, i hope the texans can get the ball rolling this year. Even though i dont expect them to win the SB, i hope at least for a solid rebuilding year. 6-10 would bea huge improvement for this team and that is my expectations this year. It took me a few months to get over the draft, but now i am ready to pull for mario williams!!!! LETS GO TEXANS!!!

Yeah, just when the Oilers finally got good, they moved to Tennessee and went to the Superbowl shortly thereafter..... If only they were still the Oilers (but I am glad Bud left)

when do the depth charts come out? i thought they were being released on the eve of training camp which is today
 
my initial prediction for the texans' season was 6 - 10 and i'm sticking to it.

by being prob. the newest member, I'll go all the way and say 16-0........its a long shot but one is suppose to think big...but seriously, I really think they will make the playoffs this year

Well the players report tomorrow. The depth chart will be released to the players before it will be released to the public. At least, i would think.

I just want our first win against the Colts this may be possible without the "Edge" in the backfield. Oh yeah, I really want us to win the Texas State Championship also. I would also like to see AJ return to the Probowl and D-Rob make his first appearance. That would make this fan happy.

See, Titan fans are under the dillusion that both teams will be bad, Texan fans are under the delusion that the Titans will be bad, and the Texans will be good.

Training camp is starting to gain momentum.

The players are checking into the hotel around noon today. Then they do some miscellaneous stuff and have a meeting in the late afternoon. I wonder if the official depth chart is discussed then? If so, I imagine after that meeting is the earliest we'll see it on the web. After dinner they will put in some plays. Friday morning they'll show us those plays.

It's about time!

I was agreeing with the ORIGINAL POSTER!!!! He said 6-10 i said 5-11. Not that big of a difference.

If i came on here and was talking about the Titans going 10-6 and the Texans going 2-14 then yeah. But I agree both teams will improve and be about the same. SO SIGN YOUR NAME WHEN YOU GIVE ME BAD REP

It will be good to have a new depth chart. I'm real excited to see if/how the defensive trenches might change over the course of the next few weeks. I don't believe the lack of hype from the press. This year is going to be a good year to be a Texans fan.

Probably pretty safe in saying to look for it by tomorrow (Friday) morning.

We start tomorrow (Friday) at 3:30 in the afternoon. Talks with Vince and LenDale are heating up and I hope that when I go to sleep this evening Vince and LenDale will officially be Titans. Volek has finally gotten his chance and is the undisputed starter for the Titans. He has waited a long time for this so I am excited to see what he can do too. I have one prediction for you all: Pacman will be a shut down corner in this league. He showed signs of greatness last year (along with signs of crappiness, but hes playing against the Colts twice a year). Pacman will make the Pro Bowl this year. Mark my words, the guy has insane talent.

Cool deal. Lendale should be a nice pick up as long as he keeps his s--- together. I know Pacman was good in college but I didn't really notice him last year. Who's the other CB? I hope he is good too. If not he'll be torn up if Pacman is going to be that good. Ask D-Rob and PBuch.:)

our other CB is reynaldo hill, 2nd year player out of florida (7th round draft pick)....he earned the spot last year the 2nd half of the season. He had two picks in one game and returned one for a TD. He might turn out to be a steal (he beat out a 1st round draft pick, Andre Woolfolk).....so atleast we arent starting two rookie CBs this year...
 
I drove by Reliant running errands for work today. They were setting up the gate and the tents for tomorrow :bouncey: :hyper: :drool:

Good thing I have a Dr.'s Apt. tomorrow..... :spy:

Do the Texans have their camp in that bubble next to the stadium? If they do, that is really cool. The Titans' camp is like 40 minutes away from nashville in this crap town.
 
Afternoon sessions closed to the fans may also be in the bubble. No need to tempt heat stroke.
 
did ya'll hear that within the first 10 minuets of the brown's training camp that lecharles bently hurt himself.........this was the longest wait for traing camp because i am expecting so much from the team this year.
