Both actually. Even at 15 I'm gonna say the "Big 3" will already be drafted. At 22, Fisher could have his pick of Cook and the remaining especially if Rick and Obie are passing up a QB at that point
 
I think you have this scenario backwards. A HC would panic if he was going into his last season without contract talks or a QB.

None the less even if I don't get your scenario, good effort.
 
Some team may fall in love with Spriggs athleticism and his combine but film don't lie. He's not a first round talent. He's a talking point for the media and TV and Internet scouts to mix things up.

I see Spriggs as a Fisher/Johnson type talent. Maybe not a day 1 LT starter, but definitely worth a top 20 pick.

Same here. I think he's a lot like Joe Staley coming out of college. Raw technique but skilled enough to be a valuable player once he's coached up.

Agree, once you get him in a system, ZBS or Power, he will do well. Even playing in the system he did at Indiana he was the main hoss that had (2) 1000 yd rushers running behind him.

I would take that deal but if Rams need QB (and they do) why not Paxton Lynch #15 or Cook #43? I would not do that deal if I was LA. As I said I would take that trade for Houston but none of your guys..well probably round 6.

How do you know the Rams didn't take Lynch at 15?

They're trading back into the 1st for a LT or a DE, another WR...
 
I'm missing something. I don't see Lynch as either an immediate starter or elite potential. Why reach for a second rounder? Just wait for him or Cook to fall to you in the second.

I guess it's in the eye of the beholder. I rate Lynch & Cook as 1 & 2 in this draft. I'd be thrilled to get either at 22.

I think most folks would agree that Lynch is not an immediate starter but disagree with elite potential. With the NFL churning through QBs and teams offering mucho dolares for average or less QBs, you pick what you want and get to work training. Provide a mock draft from someone showing him in second round. CBS has him as high as #8 to Eagles and three others with CBS @# 15 Rams. Rob Rang has him 32nd player Denver.

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, how do we know they didn't use 15 for Lynch, then use 1:22 for another player they had to have? Maybe Josh Doctson, Corey Coleman, or Billings?
